Been quiet on the DJ front recently as I've been spending some time producing music. 👩🏾‍💻

In the final week of my recent production course, I created this track from scratch. 🎼

This is where I've got to on this track, not sure if it's heavy melodic, techno or chill peak time techno, what do you think? 🤔

Is it worth finishing?
Let me know in the comments.

My set from @foxbadge at @studio338 is officially up on YouTube ⚔️🏰
It was my first time playing Studio 338 and easily the biggest gig of my life so far. 🫨

The event was called Courtly Love - a medieval-themed celebration of love, so naturally I went full theme with the costume 👑🛡️
Love is messy, intense, and often painful, and I poured every bit of that into this journey behind the decks. I truly hope you feel it 🗡️✨

My high-tech filming setup consisted of literally duct-taping a GoPro to the balcony and setting up a phone. Naturally, the phone ran out of storage mid-set and the GoPro battery died… pure chaos, but somehow I stitched it all together so you can relive the moment 🎬🫠

The full video & audio recording is ready to watch now on YouTube ⚔️

For this set, I wanted to try something a bit different ⚡️ I set myself the challenge of building a full acid techno set from scratch—finding enough driving tracks to pull the whole journey together 🔊💥

Recorded live for @notsillyfest back in July, this was the very first outing of the set in its original form, before taking it on the road across the summer with twists along the way 🎧 Expect rolling low ends, hypnotic beats, and pure 303 therapy 🫠 Glad to finally have this one up on SoundCloud for you all to hear! 🔥

Techno is better together 🪼✨ I'm looking for the next FLINTA* artist to take up a paid slot at flowstate on Friday 11th December at Unit 58, London!

I'm particularly looking for applications from POC and Global Majority women. The sound: melodic warm-up vibes building into dark, driving peak-time techno (no raw/hypnotic techno or tech house, please).

Most importantly, I want someone who is here to stick around, support the community, and vibe with the room for the full night 🪩🖤

To apply:

1️⃣ Follow @flowstate.rave and @lightgaluk

2️⃣ Tag yourself in the comments below

3️⃣ Fill out the application form via the link in bio

Applications will close once I find the right match, so don't wait! Tag or share with an artist who needs to see this 🪼🔊

🎵 🎧 🩵 Music / DJ set times are here! The flow will be pure psy vibes in the day and trippy techno vibes in the night. The two halves will be broken up by a cabaret (although we will also have performances interspersed throughout).

Check out the performance time table for more info on that. Tickets in bio, less than one week to go! by @lightgaluk

FLINTA DJ & PRODUCERS: CHAT & LINK UP

Hosted by @soft_domination, the first link up will take place on Tuesday 3rd March, 19:00-22:30 @thepostbartottenham. Entry is free, just head to the 🔗🌳 to secure your space now.

These link up sessions will be a space for FLINTA* (Women, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Asexual) DJs and Producers across all levels and the electronic spectrum to come together to discuss and talk about their experiences in the music industry. A space to share, listen or learn - we want this to be a place which gives space to FLINTA artists to decompress, empower and connect.

This idea has been swimming around my head for some time and is long overdue. Massively inspired by my experiences attending @ladiesmusicpub, a space which was integral to giving me confidence in pursuing and finding my footing in this tricky terrain.

There will be open decks on a first come, first serve basis too for those who’d like to share their music once the chatting is done.

A big shout out to @lightgaluk who has been helping me behind the scenes, to secure the venue, provide decks and more. Community is really how you make the dream work.

Soft Domination is an ethos, more than a radio show or a party. It’s about bringing more softness, kindness, and humanity into the world with power and mindfully. Breaking down boundaries and encouraging more openness and freedom to awaken your curiosity. taken in The Post Bar by @lightgaluk

Excited to make my @foxbadge and @studio338 debut this Saturday for Courtly Love ✨

Went to the Tower of London @historicroyalpalaces this week for some set inspiration. Fun fact: Yeoman Warders need over 20 years of service in the armed forces to give the tours 🪖

Feeling all the history and tradition while preparing a set tinged with medieval‑themed melodic techno tunes ⚔️🎶

I can’t wait to share this immersive night with you all. Tickets are still available — hope to see you on the dancefloor 💫
