Hey friends! I’m leading a journey to Bhutan and North India this February and would love to have some of you join me. It’s going to be one of those mythic, epic adventures, as my trips always seem to become. 😊

🇧🇹 Sacred Bhutan | February 11–19, 2027
We’ll journey through sacred Bhutan during festival time, visit ancient monasteries and temples, experience the beauty of the Himalayas, and make the pilgrimage to the legendary Tiger’s Nest.

🇮🇳 Sacred North India | February 20–27, 2027
From Bhutan, we continue into North India, experiencing the Taj Mahal, the incredible Golden Temple of Amritsar, and Dharamsala and McLeod Ganj, home of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan community in exile.

Bhutan and India are two of the places closest to my heart, and I’m really excited to share them in this way. You can join me for one journey or come for the whole epic adventure.

As always with Garuda Sunshine tours, these will be intimate, deeply enriching journeys into extraordinary places, cultures, and spiritual traditions that few people ever get to experience in this way. We’ll reflect, meditate, do yoga and go beyond simply seeing the sights and enter into the living heart of these places. My hope is that you come home not only with incredible memories, but genuinely touched and changed by what you’ve experienced.

There is a quiet strength in the black cat or panther, the animal of my Nakshatra, Ashlesha.

The strength of presence.

I regularly try to remember to ask myself, "What would I choose if I trusted myself?"

Sometimes the simplest practice is the most radical.

Pause. Feel your breath. Notice what is true in this moment.

For me lately, that pause is where I keep finding my light again. Not some far off light I have to chase down, but the one that was quietly here the whole time, waiting for me to stop long enough to open my eyes and notice it.

There are moments when the soul feels both fierce and tender at once.

I find myself saying a series of gentle yeses lately, small ones, quiet ones, the kind that don't announce themselves. Life isn't always easy, and yet something inside me refuses to close.

When I am standing at the edge of a choice, I try to remember: courage is not always loud. Often it is the quiet yes that keeps returning.

There are moments when the path goes quiet.

No signs. No certainty. Just the steady gaze of the Mystery asking you to listen more deeply.

If you are in that in-between place right now, let this be your reminder: you are not lost. You are being refined.

This is, in many ways, what it means to be walking the path of awakening. Not standing above the dark, but being willing to move through it. To go down into the shadow places, the grief, the fear, the parts of ourselves and each other that have been left unseen, and to bring a light there anyway. Not to erase the darkness, but to sit with it long enough that it stops being something to fear and becomes something to learn from.

The work has never been about avoiding the underworld. It is about knowing the way through it, and remembering, again and again, that the light of your true self waits for you. You are the light which shines from within, whole and complete.

That is the invitation right now, for all of us. Not to rush past the quiet, uncertain places, but to trust that something is being formed in us there. Darkness has its teaching. Something that could not have been built any other way.

What is life asking you to trust today?

There is a tiger that lives quietly inside me.

Not the tiger of aggression, but the tiger of fierce presence. The one who moves without apology. Who does not shrink to make others comfortable. Who walks into the unknown with steady eyes and an open heart, because he trusts his own power completely.

That is the energy I am calling in as I stand at the base of Mt. Shasta.

This mountain does not ask me to arrive polished or certain. It asks me to arrive real. To bring my claws and my softness both, my ferocity and my surrender, and to let the mountain meet me exactly there. In Tibetan tradition, the tiger carries the medicine of fearlessness, the confidence that comes not from having no fear, but from moving through it anyway.

So as I prepare for ceremony here, for the Pachamama Prophecy work and the solar initiation ahead, I am asking myself to embody that tiger. Not loud, not forceful, but unmistakably present. Rooted in my own ground. Willing to be seen.

I hope you can hear my roar for I am going to stop hiding. And I am thankful for all of the unseen and seen forces that have guided me and shaped my life and helped me to become the gentle, kind, loving, and fierce tiger that I am!

I’m so excited to welcome two dear friends from Peru, carriers of the Q’ero wisdom, who are sharing their teachings here in Dallas.

We’ve been gathering in community, learning about reciprocity, about living in right relationship with one another and the Earth. And now we’re setting off on a big journey together from Dallas to Shasta to Burning Man.

What does it take to let go?

To actually soften enough to open my hands in trust and knowing.

I have been sitting with that question lately, and every time I turn toward it, I find Green Tara waiting there with me.

She has guided me through so much of this life. Through losses I did not think I would survive, through decisions that asked me to trust something I could not yet see, through the quiet unravelings that no one else witnessed. Again and again, she has been the presence reminding me that I am loved, that I am protected, and that I do not need to hold on so tightly anymore.

There is a particular kind of grace in her energy. Swift, compassionate, fearless. She does not ask me to be finished with my healing before she meets me. She simply meets me, exactly as I am, and shows me that safety is not something I have to build alone.

I wake up most days carrying a low hum of anxiety. I feel it in my belly before my feet even hit the floor, and I feel it in my jaw, clenched and belly, gripped. I have carried it for so long it started to feel normal. But I am on a mission to unwind it, layer by layer, breath by breath, because I know now it does not serve me anymore.

So today I ask the question again. What would it take to let go? And I listen for her answer, the way I always have.

There are moments when the mind wants a map, and the soul wants a circle.

A quiet return. A sacred loop. A reminder that you have been here before, and you can begin again with more tenderness.

But I am about to head out on a big journey, a sacred pilgrimage of the soul. I have been blessed with the opportunity to walk through many such life changing experiences, and yet this one feels different, an entirely new one that even feels more expansive, free, alive.

I take a deep breath as I dive in. The only option is surrender, because next week I go to Mt. Shasta with Don Sebastian Pauccar, a renowned Q'ero mystic and healer. I never imagined I would have such an opportunity, to stand in one of the most spiritual places in North America, known as a vortex and a portal beyond ordinary reality, and take part in Q'ero ceremonial work around the Pachamama Prophecy along with a solar initiation to become a guardian of the Sun.

Then, after Shasta, I get to head to the desert in Nevada for Burning Man. Another bucket list item to check off. I am not a hot weather sort of guy, so I am preparing accordingly, but I know that once I am there and settled in, my system will find its way into rhythm with the surroundings and the climate.

Two very different landscapes but one continuous unfolding.

And as with any outer journey of this magnitude, I know it will reshape my inner landscape too. So my intention is to let go of any pre-conceived notions, releasing the need to know how it unfolds, and allowing myself to trust the energies that carry me and to free fall into whatever wants to move through me.
