Fresh pavement calls for fresh benchmark! ⏱️

Thunderhill’s newly repaved 3-mile is already getting quicker, and on 10/03 three new LightSpeed Time Trial records went into the books:
@cody_bulkley_ ran a 1:48.496 in the No.69 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 for TTA
@kmph.ca set a 1:49.685 in the No.901 Porsche 992 GT3 RS for TTX
@corbinbetheldo clocked a 1:59.211 in the No.987 Porsche Cayman S for TTD.

We are beyond proud of what LightSpeed accomplished at the 2026 NASA 12-Hours of Thunderhill!

Our No.46 BMW M240iR took P1 in class and P3 overall. 🏆 Huge congratulations to @are_motorsport_ , @edgarlauracing , and @dylan_weber_ on an incredible result.

The No.36 Toyota GR86 Cup crossed the line P5 in class after 12 hours of racing. ⚡️Big shoutout to @ontrack_offroad , @flachtcayman , @nick_rebelracing and @windscar911 for bringing it home.

Unfortunately, both of our Miatas were not able to finish the race due to mechanical issues. It wasn’t the result we were hoping for No.26 Mazda MX-5 NC and No.16 Mazda Miata NB, but we are still so proud of No.26 @owenxguo @zjiyuan89 @cc86chen @d21riccardo and No.16 @ahrixu @callme_mightyyan @jdl_22 @_nathanperkins_ for everything they gave out there.

More than anything, we want to thank our amazing team and every crew member who made this weekend possible. Thank you to all of our drivers, car chiefs @opensourceautosport @_chretiendavid @tj_suit @levahj567 @brakebleedr , mechanics, pit crew, spotters, media team, and everyone behind the scenes! Endurance racing is never easy, and weekends like this only happen because of the people who keep showing up for each other.

This weekend gave us big wins, tough lessons, and a lot of moments we will remember for a long time. We are so proud of LightSpeed team💛

Qualifying complete ✅

A huge thank you to all our crew members, car chiefs, and drivers for the hard work today. Unfortunately, our No.16 NB Miata was unable to finish qualifying due to a mechanical issue, but the team is working hard to get it back on track.

The 12 Hours of Thunderhill starts tomorrow at 7:30 AM. Let’s go racing ⚡️
