👇Steal my 190 hooks so you can stop overthinking 🎯

POSTS STORIES REELS

What if posting did NOT require a 45-minute brainstorming session? 😅
⠀
Because most small business owners are not short on ideas.
⠀
They are stuck trying to figure out how to START the post.
⠀
That is where the overthinking begins.
⠀
You open Instagram.
⠀
You stare at the screen.
⠀
You rewrite the first line 12 times.
⠀
Then suddenly you are 30 minutes deep and still have nothing posted.
⠀
A strong hook fixes that.
⠀
It gives you a direction FAST.
⠀
✅ Pick a hook.
⠀
✅ Plug in your idea.
⠀
✅ Add your point.
⠀
✅ Post it before you can talk yourself out of it.
⠀
This CAN be your reality!
⠀
MAIN LESSON: You do not need more time to create content. You need a faster way to start.
⠀
Comment HOOK and I’ll send you 190 hooks so you can stop overthinking what to post, and make your post happen in 5 min or less! by @lightupmarketing

🎯Comment HOOK and I will send you all 190 hooks!

Then:
👉film 6 seconds of anything
👉 paste your hook
👉 post
👉 grow your Instagram, and therefore your business

yes, it’s that simple! by @lightupmarketing

👀 Steal this hook for your next Reel!

And before you tell me this wouldn’t work for YOUR business, I promise it can. 😂

The trick is to think about something your customers REALLY want, and then add a funny or relatable little consequence of finally getting it.

You’re not just telling people what you do. You’re getting them to picture what life looks like AFTER they work with you.

Here’s some examples.

House Cleaner: POV: You finally get your house professionally cleaned & now you’re considering making everyone eat dinner in the driveway.

CPA: POV: You finally get your taxes done early & now you’re judging people who are still looking for their W-2s in April.

Chiropractor: POV: You finally wake up without your back hurting & now you’re suspicious of every chair you’ve ever blamed for ruining your life.

Interior Designer: POV: You finally have the living room you’ve been dreaming about & now your husband keeps asking which pillows he’s actually allowed to touch.

Personal Trainer: POV: You finally find a workout routine you actually enjoy & now you’re annoyed when your friends make plans during your gym time.

Photographer: POV: You finally get family pictures where everyone is smiling & now you’re trying to figure out how many walls in your house can fit a 16x20.

Get inside the brain of your ideal client. And if all else fails, type the template into ChatGPT and ask it to write it for your industry.

Here’s the template:

POV: You finally [achieve something your ideal customer wants] and now [the funny or unexpectedly positive consequence].

Pair it with 6 seconds of B-roll, add a trending audio, and you’re done!

And if you’re sitting there thinking, “Okay, but now I need 189 more ideas...” I’ve got you. 💕

I put together 190 done-for-you hooks that you can customize for your own business. No spending an hour staring at a blank screen trying to come up with something clever.

Comment HOOKS so Instagram doesn’t have to be so scary! 🎃☠️ by @lightupmarketing

🚨TREND ALERT! Service businesses should JUMP on this!! It’s a great way to grow your following! Here’s how to re-create it for your business:

WHAT TO FILM 🎥

Walk onto the screen, look at the camera, notice the tiny little piece of text, then use your fingers to “scroll in” until the text becomes big enough for us to read it. Then dance. (ok, you don’t HAVE to dance but, it’s a great song so you should let yourself have a little fun!)

I personally recorded this directly in Instagram so I knew when swiped to the beat. To do that click the audio on this reel → click use audio → record.

You can then easily edit inside the edits app. More on how to do that below.

MAKE IT FIT YOUR BUSINESS 💡

Choose one short message your audience needs to hear.

Not a paragraph. Not a tedtalk.

Just one little encouragement you wish you could look your perfect client in the eyes and say.

A few ideas:

→ Coffee shop: “You deserve a pumpkin spice latte.”

→ Salon: “Get the bangs.”

→ Mechanic: “Stop ignoring that noise.”

→ Realtor: “Go see the house.”

→ Chiropractor: “Your back deserves relief.”

→ CPA: “Stop doing your taxes at midnight.”

→ Photographer: “Get in the family photos.”

→ House cleaner: “You don’t have to clean before we come.”

→ Personal trainer: “You are a sexy beast”

HOW TO EDIT 📲

I made this one EVEN easier for you. If you save this reel, you’re able to edit it inside of Instagram’s edits app.

→ SAVE this Reel first → open Instagram Edits → tap the Save icon at the bottom → find this Reel → use my template to edit your own.

It’ll already give you the timing for that tiny text growing with the beat, so you can swap in your own clip and message and POST IT.

🙌 Don’t overthink the message. Say the thing your people already know they need to hear.

🚨TREND ALERT! Here’s how to re-create it for your business.

WHAT TO FILM 🎥

This one is EASY because you’re basically filming a normal workday.

Record yourself doing one simple task. Record 11 seconds. (You only need 8 of them.) Try not to look at the camera (but it’s OK if you do, you can see I struggled with that!)

Ideas of what you can record:

→ getting ready
→ picking out your outfit
→ grabbing your coffee
→ driving to work
→ opening your office/shop
→ getting your space ready
→ working with clients
→ sitting down at your computer
→ doing the little parts of your job you genuinely love

Nothing elaborate. 8 simple seconds

MAKE IT FIT YOUR BUSINESS 💡

The original hook is:

“Rich in life because I get to show up at the job I created, in the outfit I like, at the time I want, with the clients I actually love.”

You can keep that almost EXACTLY as-is.

Or change the details to match what you genuinely love about the business you’ve built.

→ “…in a salon I created, doing hair I love, with clients who feel like friends.”

→ “…helping families find homes I know they’ll make memories in.”

→ “…running the practice I dreamed about, helping people feel better every single day.”

→ “…doing work I’m really freaking good at, for business owners I genuinely care about.”

This isn’t the Reel where you need to prove your expertise or squeeze in a sales pitch.

It’s giving people a reason to CONNECT with you.

And for a local business, that matters. People aren’t only choosing the service. They’re choosing the person they want to work with.

HOW TO EDIT 📲

Tap the audio on this Reel → tap “Use Audio” → and add your clip or record from there.

Keep the clip moving and let the text stay on screen the entire time.

Your footage does NOT need to be perfectly staged. This trend is better when it actually looks like your life.

🫶 Show them the business you’re proud you built. The right people will want to be part of it.

🚨TREND ALERT! Here’s how to re-create it for your business.

WHAT TO FILM 🎥

Give yourself a 5-second runway. 😘

Walk, strut, spin dramatically… fully commit to your inner Victoria’s Secret Angel!

…all while you do your actual job!

Do NOT wait until you’re dressed perfectly for this one. The contrast makes it better.

MAKE IT FIT YOUR BUSINESS 💡

The formula is:

“Not all angels walk the VSFS. Some of us have to…”

Then finish it with something you do that makes your client’s life easier, better, or less stressful.

A few ideas:

→ Chiropractor: “Some of us have to help you get off the couch without making that awkward noise.”

→ Hairstylist: “Some of us have to make sure your hair looks fab even when your morning was a hot mess”

→ Photographer: “Some of us make sure your entire family looks like they actually love each other.”

→ Bookkeeper: “Some of us have to figure out WTH that $3.28 charge was from July.”

Make it fun! The joke gets their attention AND reminds them why they’d want to hire you.

HOW TO EDIT 📲

Tap the audio on this Reel → tap “Use Audio” → then start creating.

Keep the runway clip dramatic. Show off what you do. Keep it quick!

You don’t need multiple angles, transitions or a complicated setup. The personality + the contrast is the whole point.

And please… overact the runway!! This is NOT the time for subtlety. 📸

Your content might be GOOD… and still never get seen. 😬
⠀
That is the dangerous part about weak hooks.
⠀
You can spend 30 minutes making a genuinely helpful post.
⠀
Great advice. Strong proof. Useful information.
⠀
And if the first line does not make the right person stop?
⠀
It dies before they ever get to the good part.
⠀
Your hook has one job:
⠀
Get the RIGHT person to give you one more second.
⠀
That means it should:
⠀
✅ call out a problem they already care about
⠀
✅ create tension
⠀
✅ make them feel seen
⠀
✅ give them a reason to keep reading
⠀
The hook is not the whole post.
⠀
But it IS the door into the post.
⠀
And if nobody opens the door… the rest of your content never gets a chance.
⠀
MAIN LESSON: Strong content still needs a strong opening. If the first line does not stop the scroll, the rest of the post cannot do its job.
⠀
Let’s fix that shall we?

Comment HOOK to get 190 strong hooks that will help your business ACTUALLY grow! by @lightupmarketing

Your best marketing should feel a little like walking into Costco for paper towels… and leaving with a family-sized tray you did NOT know you needed. 😂
⠀
That is exactly what a good lead magnet does.
⠀
Your ideal customer may not be actively looking for you yet.
⠀
But they ARE thinking about the problem you solve.
⠀
The hair salon example works because she is already worried about getting orange-striped hair again.
⠀
So instead of saying:
⠀
“Appointments available!”
⠀
you give her something she ACTUALLY wants:
⠀
✨ 5 mistakes women make when choosing a new hair color.
⠀
Now she is paying attention.
⠀
Now she is learning from you.
⠀
Now she is trusting you…
⠀
before she has ever sat in your chair.
⠀
THAT is the power of a lead magnet.
⠀
It gives someone a useful first win while showing them how much you know.
⠀
And it can be simple:
⠀
✅ a checklist
⠀
✅ a short video
⠀
✅ a simple guide
⠀
✅ anything quick that solves ONE specific problem
⠀
MAIN LESSON: Do not wait for people to be ready to buy. Give them something useful enough to make them think, “Oh… I need this.”
⠀
Comment LEADS and I’ll send you the Local Business Owner’s Guide to Irresistible Lead Magnets so you can plan your own. by @lightupmarketing

The Instagram doom-scroll trap is SO real. 😅
⠀
You open the app with every intention of posting.
⠀
Then somehow you are:
⠀
✅ watching someone else’s Reel
⠀
✅ saving 4 ideas for “later”
⠀
✅ checking a random business you do not even follow
⠀
✅ and suddenly 20 minutes are gone
⠀
Meanwhile… your post is still sitting in drafts.
⠀
That is why I am a HUGE believer in making content easier before you even open Instagram.
⠀
Know your angle.
⠀
Know your hook.
⠀
Know what you want to say.
⠀
Then get in, post it, and GET OUT before the scroll gets you. 😂
⠀
MAIN LESSON: The less thinking you have to do inside Instagram, the more likely you are to actually post.
⠀

Don’t be a fool… Delegate!

Seriously, when you delegate tasks, especially the ones you hate, you have time for so much more!

That’s the way I run my marketing team. I actually love most of the tasks that need to be done in my agency. So sometimes I’ll do things just for fun that I have team members for. But that’s when I have time for “just for fun.”

When I have a lot on my plate… Not just at work, but in life… that’s where my team comes in! That’s why I have a team.

I carefully crafted a team of experts to run different aspects of my agency, so that I can step away whenever I need to and know that there are still experts in place handling different parts of my business for me.

10 out of 10 recommend.

If you want someone to delegate your marketing tasks too, we are your people!

We are a team of experts who love marketing. And we’d love to help you with yours.
