This photo was taken for the Polaroid Wall at Panavision Hollywood when I first started camera assisting in 1993. I did my last prep there today as they are closing their doors. It was pretty emotional for me as I feel like I have grown up there and my son has too. It’s always been such a family friendly place that felt like a second home. I have so much history there it’s insane- I’ve been a part of many film families and all of them have lead me through these doors. So many wonderful memories-from Maria singing you a soulful “Happy Birthday” to hilarious lunches with Cathy and Lisa- I was surprised at how moved I was realizing I was walking down its halls for the last time. End of an era in some interesting times for our beloved industry, I’m glad I was around in the heyday. I’ll miss you PVH! If anyone wants one of the iconic Iwo Jima AC posters in the last pic DM me- I grabbed a few extra for friends :) Pick up in Los Feliz.
