We spend so much time telling young girls the kind of women they should become, but what are we actually doing to help them become her? It’s one thing to tell a girl to build confidence, make good decisions and know her worth. It’s another to sit her down, have the conversations and equip her with the knowledge to understand growth, purpose and the choices ahead of her. And that bridge between being told and being equipped is part of what started Bloom Into Her 20s.💕💕🎊 The last time we were in these rooms, we saw what happens when young girls have the space to learn, ask questions and have conversations that shape how they see themselves and the lives they want to build. But there are still more girls who need these helping hands. So, we’re going back. This time, Bloom Into Her 20s is reaching two schools across Lagos, with more conversations around womanhood, growth, purpose, self-development, and choosing more for themselves. And we’re proud to be doing this in partnership with the Lagos Island Local Government office powered by the Executive chairman- Honorable Mr Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan 🇳🇬 @lilg_project School partners: Eko Akete senior secondary school 🇳🇬 Girls senior academy 🇳🇬 But work like this cannot belong to FEMMORA alone. If you’re a brand, donor or volunteer who wants to invest your resources, skills or time into the future of young girls, there is room for you here. Because every girl deserves more than having her future decided for her. She deserves the opportunity to learn, question, discover herself and make informed choices about the woman she wants to become. Bloom Into Her 20s is happening again. Come be a part of the work, and let’s give more girls something meaningtul to carry with them as they grow. #femmorainitiative #bloomintoher20s #teenagegirlsafrica taken in Eko Akete Grammar School by @lilg_project

Sometimes, all that stands between a student and another chance at success is access. That is why the distribution of free GCE forms is more than a welfare initiative. It is a statement that no student’s future should be determined by financial limitations. Every form handed out represents hope restored, confidence renewed, and another opportunity for a young person to rewrite their story. It tells them that their community believes in them enough to invest in their future. Lagos Island local government is not just preparing candidates for an examination, it is preparing future teachers, engineers, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, public servants, and leaders. When we give young people the opportunity to learn, compete, and succeed, we are building a stronger Lagos Island for generations to come. Because sometimes, changing a life doesn’t begin with a grand gesture. It begins with giving someone another chance. #PTOAjumose by @lilg_project
