The future of work is digital. Are we creating enough opportunities for people to be part of it?

At Axia Africa, we believe that expanding access to digital skills requires more than training alone. It takes collaboration between government, the private sector, and organisations committed to building the next generation of digital talent.

That’s the idea behind the Public–Private Digital Talent Initiative: bringing these key players together to make practical, industry-relevant digital education more accessible and connect learning with real-world opportunities.

Through shared commitment, industry engagement, and practical learning, we aim to help build a workforce that is better equipped to innovate, solve problems, and contribute to Nigeria’s growing digital economy.

Because when we invest in skills, we invest in possibilities.

Building skills. Connecting opportunities. Shaping the digital future.

I commiserate with the family and friends of the passengers and crew members of the Nigerian Air Force Helicopter Crash.

It was a sad occurrence and disheartening

I pray the Almighty God grant their families and the Nigerian Air Force the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss (Amen) !

PROJECT INSPECTION ‼️

The first clip is from our inspection. The second one shot with the Drone is where we are today.

It’s a simple reminder that every completed project first existed as a conversation, a plan, a site visit, and a commitment to see it through.

I’m grateful to play my part in documenting and monitoring this journey. There is still work to be done, but it’s always fulfilling to witness another promise move from paper to progress with Lagos Island Local Government. 🤏🏻

Some meetings leave you inspired. This was one of them.

I was warmly received by the incredible team at @ananse.africa and one of them is a KCOB 🤭 and from the moment I walked into their Lagos facility, one thing became clear… this is a space where ideas are nurtured, innovation is celebrated, and young people are empowered to become builders of the future.

Every corner of the facility reflects purpose, excellence, and possibility. I left even more convinced that this is the kind of environment our young people deserve access to.

I’m especially excited that our Executive Chairman, @oba_oyekan, saw the immense value in this vision and graciously gave his consent for us to pursue this partnership. It speaks volumes about a leadership that is intentional about creating sustainable opportunities for the youth of Lagos Island.

We’re putting the final pieces together, and I genuinely can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on.

For now, enjoy this glimpse of the space… and if you’re a young person within Lagos Island Local Government, start anticipating what could be a life-changing Incubation Scholarship opportunity.

More updates will be shared in due course. Follow @lilg_project to get more updates. ⚡️
