SOZO SPEAKS: Sean Brown, On Repeat 💿 The Lil’ Kim CD rug came into my home at a time when I needed something with presence. Something louder than the room itself. I’d been following Sean Brown’s work for a while, the way he blurs nostalgia, play, and design in a way that feels contemporary without losing its soul. But this piece felt personal. I still hear the echoes of Queen Bitch when I see it, sharp, confident, impossible to ignore. The album already meant something to me; now it lives here, stitched into the floor, brightening the space, making it feel more like mine. That’s the power of Sean’s work. Since its inception, Sozo has been guided by a commitment to create a space where people feel welcome and safe to express themselves, a community built on curiosity and the appreciation of clothing as a cultural memory. Throughout these years, each campaign has reflected a moment in Sozo’s evolution, echoing shifts in place, mood and vision. Together, they form a visual record of how the brand has grown and how it continues to find beauty in the stories carried by each piece. It has been a privilege to create these images alongside dear friends. The photographers and models who appear in this edition are people whose presence and talent have become essential to Sozo’s world. Each photograph exists through shared trust and collaboration, and the images reflect the connection that sustains our work. Five years into running Sozo, I’m still carving out the time to grow, while navigating the nerves that come with building something you care deeply about. At its core, Sozo Amour is about curating archival fashion with care, while creating a space where people can connect through it. From Issey Miyake to Comme des Garçons, Prada to Marni, every piece is chosen for its presence, its memory, and the way it continues a dialogue across time.
