Coverage from the Berlin Marathon

The race was fun… until it wasn’t 😅 Caught some cool bands and costumes.

Got a sweet reminder: the motherland/fatherland is always cheering. Even had a moment to praise the Lord — perfectly timed.

Sincerely,
A Berlin Legend

Marathon #5: The one that was meant to be 🧡✨

Earlier this year, I was maybe logging 3 miles a month. I was deep in the hate it phase of my love/hate relationship with running. Fast forward to this training cycle, I clocked over 100 miles in a month. It felt good to find my groove again. So thankful for this unexpected marathon.

As for the race..please don’t ask me to convert kilometers to miles. And if you’re like me, you forget how to do math while running 😅 Rumor has it I’m still doing the math mid-race. But honestly, anything to distract from the heat and pain on the hottest Berlin Marathon in history!

Not my fastest, not my smoothest but absolutely one of the most meaningful. A journey full of love, support, smiles, and fun.
