“Where there’s a woman, there’s a way.”💪🏾
18 miles to close out the last weekend of summer!😃

But it wasn’t without a little drama 👀🤪

I was late ⏰ for this run. When I say late, I mean late, late 🫣 By the time I got to our starting point, everyone was gone! 🫠

I knew I was gonna have to book it 💨 to play catch-up, but I didn’t know it would take me a whole 7 miles, including running up that wretched Williamsburg Bridge 😬 (You’re gonna have to see the video recap).

I was running up and down Brooklyn trying to find my running group because I did not want to run 18 miles by myself 🙅🏾‍♀️

To make matters worse, I am directionally challenged. Like, you show me a map 🗺️ and I’m still gonna get lost 🫣

But where there’s a will, there’s a way, and somehow your girl made a way to find her running group somewhere on the lonely back streets of Brooklyn, on a road I turned on because “I felt like it” 🤷🏾‍♀️ And like a mirage, one of the running groups appeared in front of me😃
I have never been happier to see white shirts with the letters ‘PACER’ on them 🙌🏾

It was a much faster pace group, but I didn’t care. They got me to our next water stop, where I met up with my pacing group a few minutes later 🤗

From there, it was smooth sailing ⛵️ Our pacers brought the steady pacing, good vibes and music bangers 🎶
Once we got back to Battery Park, I ran 2 miles solo along the West Side Highway to complete the full 18 miles.
It was a very very eventful long run 🏃🏾‍♀️

18 miles done ✅ & dusted ✌🏾

Week 10 of NYC Marathon Training is in the books 📚

Bring on the 20 miler next week. Your girl will be early!!

Summer 2026 - Nike Project Moonshot:
7 weeks of marathon training complete, and we’ve only just begun. What a beautiful privilege it is to be able to challenge your discipline and commitment. I am personally grateful to be able to be in service and help others commit to their marathon goals, and achieve their personal bests. It’s been amazing to pace for the first time with Nike; to be among familiar faces, and meet many new friends. Thank you for sharing your personal stories; it’s an honor to serve each and every one of you. Thank you to the coaches and OG pacers for believing in me to be part of Project Moonshot Class of 2026.
Thank you 🙏🏽 @gconnelie @jeslynnyc @kimberly.yee_ @sashahfierce
LFG to the Moon 🚀 😉PinkiesUp💓

Shoutout to the magnificent photographers for somehow running/biking and capturing all the different pace groups and never breaking a sweat 😅

"Expanded crew, elevated energy."
2026 ProjectMoonShot 🚀

Privileged to be pacing again this year with these passionate group PINKIES! To me there is something truly special about being the steady hand for others-showing up-helping fellow runners chase their PRs, sharing the miles, and building a community one step at a time. Giving back everything I've learned on the roads since 12' 🫶🏽

This year we WELCOME all runners RSVP in advance on @nike App on Sunday 10am sharp and join us! (NRCNIKETOWN SUNDAY💨 VIBES IYKYK)

@nikenyc @gconnelie 🫡 Lets do this!!! Certified vibes manager for the next weeks 🎉🚀🩷

That 10-mile long run feeling🙌🏾

Week 2 of NYC Marathon training is done ✅ and dusted✌🏾

And this time, I finally got to do my long run with the squad🤗

My favorite summer camp (aka marathon training) is officially back!

Last week got off to a bumpy start thanks to a very crazy weather pattern. First a heatwave and then poor air quality from the Canadian wildfires resulting multiple run cancellations so we weren’t able to complete our first official long run together.
But this week? We got it done!💪🏾

I’m so happy to be back on the pavement catching up with so many familiar faces and meeting new ones. Marathon training, especially during the summer, isn’t easy, but having this amazing running community beside you makes every early alarm, sweaty mile, and wretched bridge🤪worth it.

Check out my Stories for more photos and behind-the-scenes videos from yesterday’s run.

Be sure to follow along as I train for my 10th New York City Marathon 🗽🏃🏾‍♀️

in 1999, my mom let us skip school & took us to the yankees ticker-tape parade. it was electric. and made me so proud to say i was from the bronx. so it was only right i brought her out to watch the @nyknicks & celebrate them as new york’s new champions! 💙🧡these lil moments lead to big ny state of mind energy. somos un par de nuyorkinas 4eva.

pic #9 deserves its own caption:

Tracked the miles, but the best part was spending the whole race laughing, vibing, and enjoying every step with my friends. That’s the kind of running I live for. 💖✨

A casual little 5k followed by day drinking before most people even exited their beds.

This is why I’ll always say it’s bigger than running. It’s the community, the familiar faces, the catching up like no time passed, and the amount of love packed into one room.
