The Salt Giant @wedesignbeirut 2025.

I was made about 5 500 000 years ago when the Mediterranean Sea almost completely evaporated after the tectonic collision of the African and Eurasian plates.

Now, I am activated by the hands and tools of local artisans and makers @stonesbyraniamalli , @metalwavelb, and Horloger Khatcherian, in collaboration with the few salt harvesters who remain on the coast of Anfeh, Lebanon. @blancsel.lb

Thank you to the great WeDesignBeirut team @miriamtarabay, @karelkargodorian ,@marcfrahi @sameralameen, and @marianawehbepr who made this possible.
