Reason 929,135 why you shouldn’t cut your own bangs! I normally don’t butcher them as much as I did this time but when your hairdresser sees them and says “Oh Lord!” you know you messed up! They’re the reason I’ve been wearing my hair in a bun since I realized I made a mistake! Anyways, she cut and thinned out my hair, added some lowlights and highlights, then blended my bangs in the best that she could. I will however be wearing them pinned back until I’m comfortable with their length! P.S. The crazy man in the last picture loves me no matter what my hair looks like. He just wants me to stop stealing his shirts! by @linabeth76

2,922 days.....that’s how many days I’ve lived and breathed on this Earth without the very person that gave me life. Mom was my shelter, my heart, my best friend, my hero, my biggest supporter, and my first soulmate. I stood a foot taller than her but I looked up to her because her strength and faith made her a giant. I’ve survived these last eight years, these 2,922 days without her because she passed a little of that strength and faith on to me. I’ve seen a quote before that said something to this effect, “You can’t rewrite a shelter dog’s past, but you can certainly write them a better future” and that’s exactly what my husband and I intend to do one (or in our case two) dog(s) at a time. One of the #natchitocheshopeforpaws volunteers/board members sent me this FB memory from 10 years ago of a sweet young dog that had been passed over at a recent adoption event. He continued to be passed over until one day last Fall when my husband and I fell in love with this beautiful creature. He along with his buddy Chloe were to join our family mid November but due to unforeseen circumstances they didn’t make it home to us until January 13th! He’s been in his forever home for 6 weeks and 3 days and as you can see he’s loving every second of it! It’s only been a little over three weeks that these two joined the Tabarlet family but you would think they’ve been here for years! It’s been two days since I answered a call from my husband only to hear a woman on the other end saying he had just been in an accident. It’s been two days but he’s still here with me, God and our guardian angels were watching over him. He has a broken arm, broken ribs on the front and back of his left side, a ruptured spleen, and a totaled truck. A procedure was done on his spleen, his broken bones will heal, and he can get a new truck but he could never be replaced. We’ve had an amazing circle of friends, family, and strangers praying for him and an amazing group of doctors and nurses in the ER and Trauma ICU taking care of him. This whole experience has been terrifying but more than that it’s made my love for this man stronger than it ever was. Happiest of birthdays to the man that came into my life when my heart was completely shattered and little by little put it back together again! In the last 7 years he’s done everything possible to make sure I’m happy and safe and I’ve never once doubted how much he loves me! I’ve never known anyone that works as hard as him, the man turned 60 today and he chose to spend the day working outside with a heat index of 111 making sure our little slice of Heaven is perfect. I swear he works circles around men half his age! I’ve finally convinced him to come in for dinner but I’m pretty sure his birthday cake was the deciding factor! 🥰 by @linabeth76

Happy 2️⃣0️⃣th Birthday to my first niece Madeline Grace!!! I of course loved you from day one but now that your an “aNdult” I love your sweetness, your humor and the fact that you’re just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside! I wanted a Valentine’s Day door hanger but didn’t want something that everyone else had so I made my own! I had the greenery but I ordered the different types of ribbon on Etsy then got paint, stencils, and the wooden sign (I painted it white)from Walmart. I’m so very proud of it!!! Thank you to @shophandmadehome for their bow tutorial because I will never make a bow any other way from now on!!!!

*I noticed I stenciled the “O” in “You” upside down but I don’t care because it gives it character! 🙃 by @linabeth76
