There are certain moments that make you stop and think about how far life has taken you. This is definitely one of mine.

I’m incredibly honored to be on the October cover of Hinsdale Living and to share my story in A Life Wide Open, a story about taking chances, stepping outside my comfort zone, giving back, and finding a community I’m so grateful to call home.

One of my favorite quotes from the article sums it up perfectly:

“I still to this day enjoy putting myself in different situations because that’s when different doors open for you.”

From the little girl who came to the U.S. from Lithuania at six years old to this moment, there have been so many unexpected doors along the way and I’m so grateful I kept walking through them.

“Lina has worked tirelessly from the end of the 2025-2026 club year through today to support the fundraising efforts of our club, and to offer her support to fellow board members. Lina’s role as Benefit Managing Chair can be compared to a marathon, requiring Lina to keep going after many others would have thrown in the towel. She was the unwavering rock that showed up to every event, nurtured relationships with sponsors, attended the most grant calls of any member, and helped plan and market every detail of reveal, Super Bowl squares, and Giving is Rock. Lina has also helped with each other marquee event to offer her support wherever she can. She did all of this while working and preparing for Miss. Illinois. She made a great number of personal sacrifices, mainly sleep, to fulfill her role and responsibilities and to do so at the highest possible level of attention to detail and excellence. I deeply appreciate Lina’s commitment and dedication to our organization and our community impact and I look forward to her future contributions to the club as Secretary.”

Today was a beautiful day for the Alexia Scholars! ✨ We gathered for our Vision Board Year Brunch @woodenpaddle , enjoyed a relaxing spa day at @vibescafe_lagrange , and felt inspired by an empowering and motivating talk from @ashleydlogan of Inner Alchemy Method. 💚

Tomorrow, our scholars will volunteer, participate, and network at Self-Care Sunday. We hope to see you there! 🌿

Some dreams do not arrive with certainty.

They arrive carrying an accent, a suitcase, and a heart determined to belong.

When Lina crossed an ocean from Lithuania as a little girl, the world spoke a language she did not yet understand. Yet somewhere between unfamiliar classrooms, whispered hopes, and the kindness of a community that welcomed her family, she discovered something powerful: dreams grow strongest when they are rooted in gratitude.

Today, as Miss Hinsdale USA, she stands as a woman shaped not only by ambition, but by service. A leader, philanthropist, real estate professional, and advocate for her community, she carries her success the same way she carries her crown—not as a symbol of arrival, but as a reminder to lift others as she rises.

Perhaps that is why her story feels familiar.

Because every woman has known what it means to start before she felt ready. To overcome what seemed impossible. To become someone her younger self could only imagine.

Still taking it all in. 🤍
Top 15 at Miss Illinois USA 2026 and leaving the weekend with so much gratitude, growth, and inspiration.

To the directors, judges, sponsors, coaches, volunteers, glam team, my family, friends, and every single person who supported me along the way, thank you for believing in me, sending messages, and encouraging me. Representing Hinsdale on this stage was truly an honor.

This experience reminded me that success isn’t only measured by a crown, but by the people you inspire, the confidence you gain, and the courage to keep showing up. 🤍

@aqueensconversation thank you for taking me on, working with me, hammering my interview and story. I’ve grown as a woman, pageant competitor, and story teller because of you. 🤍

@foleyandhookconsulting I thank the stars that @aqueensconversation introduced us. Not only were you two my pageant moms, but helped me grow in my styling, confidence and beauty. 🤍
