A woman of many talents, a heart for service, and a passion for making a difference! 💗✨

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our very own HJWC Executive Board Secretary, Lina Survilaite, on gracing the cover of the October issue of Hinsdale Living Magazine! ✨

A philanthropist, dedicated volunteer, community leader, mentor, entrepreneur, and real estate professional, Lina is a shining example of what it means to lead with purpose and inspire those around her.

From immigrating to the United States from Lithuania at a young age to building a life rooted in leadership, service, and empowering others, Lina’s journey is nothing short of inspiring.

Her cover story, “A Life Wide Open,” is a testament to embracing opportunities, breaking boundaries, and using your experiences to create meaningful change.

Lina embodies the very heart of HJWC: women empowering women, leading with compassion, and giving back to the communities we call home.

Congratulations, Lina! We are so fortunate to have your passion, energy, and leadership as part of our HJWC family. Keep shining and inspiring! 💕

A special thank you to @hinsdale_living and @jwcmediagroup for highlighting her incredible story! ✨

The Top Tier Student Bundle is about more than test prep—it’s about helping students turn big goals into meaningful next steps. ✨

Through mentorship with AAC Tutoring, students can get guidance on pursuing competitive research opportunities and internships, finding physician shadowing experiences, and starting a business or nonprofit of their own.

They’re also invited to fun networking experiences and mentorship meetups, including sponsored events with The @alexiascholars💚

Curious whether the Top Tier Student Bundle is the right fit for your student? Send us a DM to learn more.

A woman is never just one thing. She’s softness and fire. Stillness and movement. Tenderness and fierce ambition.

I love taking women’s portraits and capturing all their strength, power, and resilience. 🖤📸

✨ A little self-care, big dreams, and the sweetest girls’ brunch! 🥂🌸

Our Vision Board Year Brunch was such a special part of The Alexia Scholars’ Wellness Weekend! Some of our scholars were treated to a VIP spa experience at @vibescafe_lagrange before joining us for a private brunch at @woodenpaddle . We filled intention jars, shared so many delicious bites, and dreamed up the year ahead. 💆🏽‍♀️🫖💫

We also celebrated a few of our amazing scholars (we’ll be sharing more about them throughout the month!), filmed content for the new AAC Tutoring website, and gave our girls time to connect and network. From @rhys_olivia joining us all the way from Maine to scholars representing Elmhurst, Naperville, and Hinsdale, it was a beautiful reminder of what happens when driven girls come together. 🤍

At The Alexia Scholars, we believe girls can compete—but leaders collaborate. That’s what we teach, and that’s what we’re building. 🌟

A heartfelt thank-you to Vibes Wellness Club for giving our scholars the VIP spa treatment and helping make this weekend unforgettable! 💖

Today was a beautiful day for the Alexia Scholars! ✨ We gathered for our Vision Board Year Brunch @woodenpaddle , enjoyed a relaxing spa day at @vibescafe_lagrange , and felt inspired by an empowering and motivating talk from @ashleydlogan of Inner Alchemy Method. 💚

Tomorrow, our scholars will volunteer, participate, and network at Self-Care Sunday. We hope to see you there! 🌿

Stay tuned for more content from this special weekend throughout the month and beyond! 📸✨ #AlexiaScholars #Leadership #Philanthropy #Networking

THE JOY MAKER ✨🌈

I am so incredibly honored and thrilled to be included in this year’s Hinsdale Living Power Women feature as “The Joy Maker.”

Of all the ways my story and work could have been captured, this one feels especially meaningful. This feature represents who I am, what I’ve built, and where I’m going, and I truly couldn’t be more proud. 💛

Art, color, resilience, motherhood, entrepreneurship, empowering women to trust their own eye and make bold choices - and, through all of it, JOY. Seeing all of those pieces of my life woven together on this page feels pretty surreal.

A huge thank you to @hinsdaleliving and @jwcmediagroup for including me among this year’s incredible Power Women, and to @kemmieryan and @theresa_demaria for bringing this feature to life so beautifully. I’m beyond grateful!

And can we talk about the vision and styling?! ✨ @colleen_arturi thank you!!
Wardrobe: @suzestylelab , Lepa Boutique, @sweetwilliamhinsdale + vintage Free People, @lackofcoloraus

Here’s to making a case for more color, more confidence and a whole lot more JOY. 🌈✨

The women helping lead the vision, champion our mission, and make it all happen behind the scenes.

Meet some of the incredible women serving on our 2026–2027 Executive Board! We asked them what they’re most excited about for the year ahead and their answers say it all: connection, community, service, growth, and making an impact together.

Each brings her own strengths, ideas, and heart to HJWC, but they share one goal: creating an incredible year for our members and continuing to make a meaningful difference for women, children, and families in our community.

Here’s to a year of leading with purpose, serving with heart, and doing it together. 💕

✨ Why did we join HJWC? Turns out, we all had our own reason… but found so much more. 💗

We asked a few of our members why they joined the Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club and these are their answers.

Whether you’re new to the Western Suburbs, looking to meet amazing women, wanting to get more involved in your community, or simply searching for something meaningful to be part of… there’s a place for you here.

Come for your why. Stay for the women, the friendships, and the impact. ✨

Applications are still open, link in bio or visit hjwc.us 💕

For every woman, creating the life she desires starts from within. The healing, the work she puts in to develop her strength and confidence, and everything it takes to build a positive self-image. From there, she can catapult everything around her to the next level.
