Check out this excerpt from FALLING FOR THE HOLIDAYS by @authorerinhawkins releasing November 5th! This was hands down an absolute 5 star read from me and the audio was 🔥 🔥 🔥! So, PreOrder Now here- you won't be disappointed! https://payhip.com/b/PjqZ2  “You,” I say, keeping my voice pitched low. “You’re the tech guy?” Beck leans next to the glass case with the display of Cedar Hollow’s history. “Guilty. Small town, big coincidence.” His smile tilts. “Hi, Lottie.” My name in his mouth does things it shouldn’t. I cross my arms tighter to cover my hard nipples. “Let’s recap. Last night was a one-time thing.” He tsks. “Who said that? You?” He looks entertained. “Because if you didn’t have a good time—” “I didn’t say—” “I have notes.” He pats his pocket like he’s about to produce them. “Your breathy pants. Your slickness. The way you were clenching my cock—” “Beck!” I slap a hand over his mouth so fast I nearly sprain something. “Do not say that here.” His eyes dance with amusement while his lips curve against my palm, warm and teasing. Then, he peels my fingers away, gently. “Why not?” he murmurs, voice dropping low, and wicked. “It’s true. God, Lottie, I’m still thinking about you gripping me. I swear I can feel you if I stand still long enough. And Oliver was right about your cookies, but they aren’t the only thing I want to eat every day.” Heat rockets through me. I take a deliberate step back like distance can fix the surge of desire rushing through me. “I’m a mom,” I say, crisp. “I don’t have time for…this.” “For orgasms?” His eyebrows lift. “For you,” I snap, then sigh because his grin says he knows I don’t mean it the way it sounds. “For messy. For complicated. I work two jobs. Oliver has school and hockey and now this festival project. I do everything.” His face softens; the teasing doesn’t vanish, but it shifts. “Maybe if you asked for help.” “Asked for help,” I echo. “That’s adorable.” “It’s practical.” "Beck." #erinhawkins #holidayromance @theauthor.agency by @linds_loves_lit
🎧 AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: Mistletoe All the Way by Lauren Blakely This was an okay Christmas romance for me, landing around three stars. I wanted to like it more, but in the end it was a bit too long and drawn out, IMO. Tropes: 🎄 Holiday Romance 🎄 Snowed In 🎄 Grumpy x Sunshine 🎄 Small Town 🎄 Hate-ish to Lovers 🎄 Cowboy Veterinarian 🎄 Christmas Competition This story follows Noah, our MMC. He's someone who is returning to his hometown to fight for the future of his family farm. Enter Eloise, our FMC, a Christmas-loving optimist trying to make her way in marketing. Together they can help one another accomplish something they both need.... While there were definitely some cute moments, the whole Mr. Holiday competition storyline felt stretched across too many events, which made the book drag out longer than it had to. I honestly think this could have been about 100 pages shorter. One thing that really worked for me was Noah being a veterinarian trying to inherit the family farm. That part of the story was a bright spot. I also got a kick out of the "Grinch vs. Jolly" dynamic. I've never heard someone described as a "Jolly" before, but it made me chuckle more than once. The full cast audiobook was easily my favorite part of the experience. Narrated by Rose Dioro, Teddy Hamilton, JF Harding, Simone Lewis, Erin Mallon, and Gregory Salinas, the production kept me engaged even when the story itself wasn't holding my attention! This is only the second Lauren Blakely book I've read, and truthfully, I had a similar reaction to the first one. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if this author just isn't for me.... ❓I need to know: Have you read any Lauren Blakely books? If so, which one would you recommend? by @linds_loves_lit
A-Z Challenge: COMPLETE! ✅🎉 As October came to a close, I finally crossed the finish line on my A-Z Challenge!!! Being an ARC reader definitely made this one a little trickier than expected because I don't always get to choose what lands on my reading list. Most of the time, my priority is staying on top of review commitments, so filling those hard-to-find letters took some intentional planning. With the end of the year getting closer, I decided it was time to make a final push and focus on the letters I still had left. It took some strategy but I got it done! 🙌 There's something incredibly satisfying about seeing every letter checked off and officially calling this reading goal complete. ✅ ❓ Have you ever completed an A-Z Challenge? And, what was your toughest letter to fill? by @linds_loves_lit
OCTOBER RECAP: October was such a good reading month! 🍂🎃🍁 I finished 16 books, which might be my first 16-book month of the year! 🤯 October stats: 📖 16 books read 📄 5,594 pages read ⭐️ 3.84 average rating 🎧📚 7 books were ARCs or ALCs 📚 Average book length: 356 pages ⏱️ Average time to finish: 5 days (slightly inflated due to a rough ARC...) 3 books landed at 5-star reads this month! Overall, I'm really happy with how much reading I got done and all the pages I turned this month! Here's hoping the momentum carries into November! 🍁🍂🍁 ❓What was your favorite book you read in October? by @linds_loves_lit
TEASER: HOLIDAY REBOUND by @natashamauthor Releasing November 13th! Grab it at your favorite book vendor as it will be exclusive to KU on release day!  #PreOrderNow https://bit.ly/HolidayReboundNM  Why you will love this book… 🌲Holiday Romance ❄️Grumpy/Sunshine 🌲Opposites Attract ❄️Forced Proximity  🌲Damsel in Distress  ❄️Emotional Scars  A holiday where everything starts off wrong, and ends up oh so right. Chloe When I surprise my boyfriend with a vacation I’d secretly planned, I never imagined he’d break up with me. Definitely not two weeks before Christmas. So instead of letting me spiral, my best friend insists I take the trip anyway. Fresh air. Fresh start. What could go wrong? Everything. The second I arrive in the most festive town on earth, I discover all my reservations have been canceled.  It’s peak Christmas season.  Every room is booked. Every restaurant is packed. And I’m stranded. JB When I decided to open a Christmas tree farm, everyone laughed. Now we’re one of the biggest producers in the region. Hard work pays off. Doesn’t mean I have to like it. While the world calls it the most wonderful time of the year, I call it exhausting. Dropping off a tree at the local inn should’ve been simple. Instead, I walked in on two women on the verge of a meltdown. I planned to keep walking—until my cousin volunteered my house as their backup. I should’ve said no. Except now I’m hauling her luggage through my front door, reminding myself it’s only for ten days. Then she’ll be gone. Except with every day that passes, she gets further under my skin. You can’t fall in love in just over a week. …Right? Unless it’s a Holiday Rebound. ✨INFLUENCERS: Sign up to review this awesome release: https://bit.ly/HOLIDAYREBOUNDSIGNUP #natashamadison #holidayromance @theauthor.agency by @linds_loves_lit
ARC REVIEW: Don't Tie Me Down by Jere Anthony This one escalated quickly! Less than 10% into this book, and we were already in an adult spicy club! I was immediately intrigued and ready for the ride. Kira, our FMC, has her life take a dramatic turn after a viral scandal lands her in a court-ordered anger management course. Then we have Roman, a man she just happened to have a one-night stand with, who enters stage left as her boss! Add in living in his pool house, therapist-assigned rules, media attention, and the fact that she's technically still married, and there's certainly no shortage of chaos! For me, though, the pacing was a bit uneven. The beginning grabbed my attention right away, but the story slowed considerably in the middle. Around the 55% mark, things started picking back up, but it was still a bumpy ride through much of the second half. The standout of this book was definitely Roman. He is the definition of an acts-of-service hero. No matter what Kira was dealing with, he remained steady, supportive, and ready to help her work through it. One aspect that didn't quite work for me was Roman's relationship with his brother Leo. I struggled to understand why Roman seemed so invested in gaining his approval, and those family dynamics didn't land well for me. Tropes: 🪢 Hidden Identity 🪢 One-Night Stand 🪢 Rope Play 🪢 Black Cat x Golden Retriever 🪢 Workplace Romance 🪢 Small Town 🪢 Billionaire Romance While the spicy scenes delivered, I felt much of the middle lacked enough plot to keep me fully engaged. I typically finish a book in less than five days, but this one took me fourteen as I struggled to stay connected to it. At the end of the day, not every book is for every reader, and I think this one simply wasn't the right fit for me. There were elements I enjoyed, especially Roman's character and the spice, but overall it didn't capture my attention the way I'd hoped. Thank you to the author and to Love Notes PR for the ARC. ALC/ARC REVIEW: Falling For The Holidays by Erin Hawkin 🎧 Duet narration by Savannah Thomas & Jason Clarke My first official holiday read of 2026, and what a way to kick off the season! This 256-page novella completely pulled me in. I started listening and didn't want to stop! Lottie is a hardworking single mom juggling two jobs, a cookie business, and her young son. Then there's Beck, who stole the entire show! His accent, the way he showed up for Lottie and Oliver, and how effortlessly he fit into their lives. He even hand-washed dishes so she wouldn't have to unload the dishwasher later! As a forty-something mom, I love a hero who lightens the mental load. A man who can cook, clean, fix things, and do it without being asked? Swoon! For a novella, this one brought the HEAT! 🔥 Both narrators were fabulous, and Jason Clarke's British accent definitely added to the experience. The PTA mom storyline was especially entertaining as a mom who has never quite fit in with the PTA crowd. I did struggle a little with Beck's audiobook narration since he's supposed to be 25 but sounded significantly older to me. Still, he completely won me over! I loved watching Beck build a relationship with Oliver, and that coin coming full circle at the end had me tearing up. 🥹 I was rooting for all three of them, and they got their HEA! Tropes: 🍪 Holiday Romance 🍪 Single Mom 🍪 Small Town Romance 🍪 Fake Dating 🍪 One Night Stand to More 🍪 He Falls First 🍪 Opposites Attract I absolutely adored this release! Add it to your TBR and grab it on November 5th! For my full review, head on over to Goodreads. I couldn't say enough good things about this one so I had to cut it short for IG! Thank you to The Author Agency for the immersive reading opportunity and for providing this ALC/ARC! by @linds_loves_lit
❄️ TEASER❄️ FALLING FOR THE HOLIDAYS by @authorerinhawkins releasing November 5th! #PreOrderNow https://payhip.com/b/PjqZ2  What's inside: ❄️ Holiday Romance 🍪 Small Town ❄️ Fake Dating 🍪 Single Mom ❄️ One Night Stand 🍪 He Falls First ❄️ Opposites Attract 🍪 ‘Just Casual’ ❄️ Spicy RomCom As a single mom, the holidays are chaos on another level. Working two jobs, running a cookie business, and trying to keep Christmas magical for my seven-year-old son is exhausting on a good day. So, I’m not sure why I thought I’d add dating to my never-ending to-do list.  My date is a disaster, but the charming Brit playing piano at the bar—and later flirting with me over a pool table? Not so much.   One reckless night with Beck Hargrove feels harmless.  Until I run into him the next day at my son's Winter Fest workshop and our one-night fling becomes a lot more complicated.  Now the PTA moms think we’re together, my son is obsessed with him, and the ridiculously charming British man I was supposed to forget keeps showing up in all the worst places—my kitchen, my holiday plans, and very much in my head. The more he helps with Winter Fest, charms everyone in Cedar Hollow, and looks at me like my messy life is something he actually wants, the harder it is to remember he won’t be staying.  But Beck is always chasing his next adventure.  And I can't afford to fall for a man who's only here for the holidays, no matter how much he's starting to feel like he belongs. ✨INFLUENCERS: Sign up to review this awesome release: https://bit.ly/FFTHSIGNUP #erinhawkins #holidayromance @theauthor.agency by @linds_loves_lit
❄️ Holiday reading season has officially begun! ❄️ My first festive read of the year is Falling for the Holidays by Erin Hawkins, and it is delivering everything I want in a holiday romance. This 256-page novella is spicy 🌶️, fun, and moves at fast pace. I started it today and somehow I'm already nearly halfway finished. I'm loving every minute of it! Releasing November 5th, so make sure to add this one to your TBR if you're looking for a steamy holiday read to kick off the season. by @linds_loves_lit
📚 ARC REVIEW: Something Spontaneous by Dakota Forest This book started strong for me. The chemistry was there immediately, the spice was plentiful, and I flew through the beginning. Unfortunately, once I settled into the story, I found myself waiting for more plot. The steamy scenes kept coming, which I didn't mind, but I wanted more from the story itself. Josie's van life setup and return to her hometown felt like they had a lot of potential, and I kept expecting more adventure, conflict, or excitement from that premise. Instead, the story felt a bit repetitive at times, and the pacing slowed down for me. One thing I appreciated was Sly's limb difference after losing part of his leg in a garage accident. It added another layer to his character, although I would have liked to see that aspect explored a little more. Two scenes were memorable. The first was the pool scene, and the second was when they were at the music festival. Those added depth to the story, and I wish that this had been explored more. There was a shower scene as well, but again, even that was shallow in my opinion. The found family element ended up being one of my favorite parts of the book. Watching Josie return home and realize that the town didn't view her the way she thought they did was genuinely touching. It was nice to see her reconnect with people and discover that she was more welcome than she expected. Tropes: 🔧 Second Chance Romance 🔧 Small Town 🔧 Mechanic MMC 🔧 Cam Girl FMC 🔧 Found Family 🔧 Dual POV 🎧 Audiobook thoughts: Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke are always reliable narrators, and they both delivered solid performances here. This was narrated in dual narration rather than duet narration, and while I enjoyed listening to it, nothing really elevated the experience for me. It was good, but not particularly memorable. Overall, there were definitely some bright spots, but the story landed as an average read for me. Not every book works for every reader, and unfortunately this one just wasn't the right fit. But, if you're looking for a spicy small-town second-chance romance with found family elements, this one may work much better for you than it did for me. by @linds_loves_lit
📣 A𝐕𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 NOW - Don't Tie Me Down by @author_jere_anthony is now available in paperback and ebook! What to expect: 💰 Billionaire 🏡 Small Town 🖤 Black Cat x Golden Retriever 👀 Girl on the Run 🎭 Hidden Identity 💼 Workplace 🪢 Rope Play 📚 BLURB 📚 So I rammed a group of paparazzi with my car…can't a girl be in her luteal phase? According to the judge, apparently not. That's how I found myself ordered to twelve weeks of anger management and working for the charming billionaire I just had a one-night stand with. The plan was simple: Lay low for the summer until my viral scandal blew over, while my agent worked behind the scenes to repair my image…But I've never been good at following plans…trouble, on the other hand? That's something I have a knack for. My summer started with a bang. Literally. Then my new woo-woo therapist dropped a bomb on me: Complete her 12 “Rules” before the end of the summer. Or go to jail. Now I'm working as an assistant to the town's golden-boy billionaire… while living in his pool house, trying to keep my dirty thoughts at bay. The problem is this man is so damn tempting. If I didn't know any better, I'd think he was doing it on purpose... But two can play at that game. The sexual tension growing between us is off-the-charts. What we're doing is reckless, and if the media finds out, the fallout could be devastating… Especially since I'm technically still married. @lovenotes.pr #lovenotespr #jereanthony #donttiemedown by @linds_loves_lit
Piper Rayne has revealed the cover for Treading Water! I have read the first 2 and I ABSOLUTELY can't wait for this one! Look for gorgeous this one is! 💚🩷💚 Releasing: December 3, 2026 Cover Illustrator & Designer: Buerosued I’ve been secretly texting my brother’s best friend for two years, and I knew the first time that we’d crossed a line we couldn’t uncross. It isn’t the first secret Fowler Briggs and I shared. When my father turned me away at sixteen, Fowler drove three hours to get me and never told a soul. That night, I promised myself no one would ever get close enough to hurt me again. Fowler was safe. He was a thousand miles away, on the other end of two years’ worth of Saturday night calls. Until the life I’d built in Nashville started closing in, and I did what I do best—I ran. Now I’m working behind Fowler’s bar, sleeping in his spare room, and discovering he’s a lot harder to keep at a distance when he’s right down the hall. He’s not supposed to see straight through me. Or make staying feel easy. And he definitely isn’t supposed to become the one man I can’t walk away from. I always run. We both know that. The problem is, I can’t stop wondering what would happen if, for once, I didn’t. If I stayed. Pre-order today! Visit Piper Rayne's website for buy links, or search Treading Water by Piper Rayne on Amazon. Don't forget to add Treading Water by Piper Rayne to your Goodreads TBR! by @linds_loves_lit
