It was my first time freestyle painting with underglaze, and I’m surprised by how well it turned out. The underglaze I used was totally random, just the best seller on Amazon, the quality aren’t always consistent🤨
It'll be helpful if anyone could recommend your favorite underglazes😚

My first attempt at combining 3D printing + urushi lacquer! It’s amazing how such a lightweight base can take on completely different textures—the piece I made almost looks like wood, with color variations that came out so random and natural. Huge thanks to @zao.zzz for the patient guidance 🙏 This workshop was honestly the one where I learned the most recently🥰

A quick note of caution🔻
Urushi can easily cause allergic reactions during the process, so proper protection is a must. Direct contact is a no-go, and those with sensitive skin should be extra careful. I worked on this for about four hours +, and by the end even felt a little throat discomfort.

All in all, the finished piece turned out so satisfying! Once a prototype feels right, this material is definitely a strong option for making final works💡 taken in New York, New York by @linmakes.0v0

My first time making glass mosaics!
It's a workshop open to public at @urbanglass_nyc
The studio is huge and fully equipped😲
Surprisingly, cutting large pieces of glass is really stress-relieving as long as you have the right tools. Trimming small pieces makes it harder to predict the shape, but I actually enjoy that bit of randomness. The tiny shards that fly off are extremely small and sharp, so extra caution is definitely needed!
