Milano Tea Week, in collaboration with Chazuixian and Fioriartificiali, is pleased to host an intimate concert by Iréne Schrader for its closing event.

Irène Schrader is a multilingual singer-songwriter based in Paris whose music blends the diverse cultures she has experienced. Her sound is influenced by 70s and 90s Mandopop, the timeless charm of late 60s and 70s French chanson, and modern electro-pop and indie styles. Music is her constant companion—she composes wherever she goes, whether in her room, on a train, or in the air.

🇮🇹ITA in the comment
Yesterday, two years after her sold-out show in Milan, I saw Laufey @laufey again in concert for the “A Matter of Time” Tour, accompanied by a string quartet. Another sold-out, 4,000 more people, another Grammy won — that’s two now.
If you don’t know who she is, look her up and listen to this Icelandic/Chinese singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist who blends jazz, pop, bossa nova, and classical music. Besides being a brilliant artist, she’s part of a new wave of young women — at the recent Olympics we saw many shining examples: the absolute queen Eileen Gu @eileengu , Alysa Liu @alysaxliu who, not coincidentally, chose a Laufey song to win her gold medal, Kokomo Murase @cocomonsan and also our own Flora Tabanelli @flo_taba who won bronze with a broken knee. These are girls who aren’t afraid to fall, fail, get back up, fight, give voice to their dreams with commitment and perseverance, and have courage — the courage to believe in themselves and their work even in the current state of the world. Courage to love. But most of all, they manage to make themselves heard and become positive inspirational models for so many young people. Laufey’s audience is largely made up of teenagers, and the fact that they listen to this genre says a lot about the power of music (and the good side of the internet) and honestly, it gives me some hope for the future.
A future that Laufey also supports through her foundation’s work @laufeyfoundation giving back to young musicians the opportunities she had. What can I say — this is the power of representation. Chapeau, let’s be brave 👊🏻 and see you at the next concert ❤️ by @linopalena

Grazie!
🇬🇧
Our short film “Ombra” has won the 🌸Sakura Prize🌸 at the 18th Universocorto Int.Short Film Fest. The prize includes the publication by @edizioni_ets of a volume containing an essay on the film: The Sakura series reflects on cultural products and their ability to shape deep human and societal issues. 🙏🏻 We are honored and confident that the essay will convey the various layers we explored in the film. Thank you!
