Our Ellie passed away this past Tuesday, her megacolon was progressively getting worse and the month of August was rough on her. She fought so hard until the very end like the strong and brave girl she was but her little body couldn’t take it anymore. Her flare up this time was just too much and passed away at the hospital. We are devastated, our hearts are shattered into a million pieces. We thought we had more time with her. She meant the world to us and we loved her so so much. We cannot describe with words how much pain and sadness we are feeling right now. She wasn’t “just a bunny” to us, she was our baby girl. We try so hard to give our pets the best life they can have, and Ellie was no different. We went above and beyond to help her and have a comfortable and happy life despite having this terrible condition. She was beyond loved and spoiled. She had her own room and little by little took over the entire first floor.

Our house feels a little empty now and everything reminds us of her. To think a year ago she approached us during our walk with Winston ,taking us an entire week to catch her. It was cold, rainy and even hailed that entire week yet she survived. It just goes to show how much of a fighter she was. She was so spunky, and soooo sassy yet the sweetest most cuddly bun. She was my soul bunny and she became so attached to me and I to her. She taught us so much about bunnies and showed us how such a small living thing can have so much personality and give so much love.

We will miss her so much and there is no day that will go by without us thinking of her. She will forever live in our hearts , until we see you again baby girl , we love you forever 🕊️❤️‍🩹 by @lintorres

One year since we found Ellie dumped. It took us an entire week to catch her , she was out there in the rain, hail & cold. Then dealing with uterine tumors due to her not being spayed, covered in fleas and many many ER trips due to her constantly being in GI stasis just to find out she has Megacolon. She’s a survivor though. A year in and now she’s a sassy girl living her best life. Went from the streets to having an entire room in our house + owning the entire living room.

I love her so much , I’ve become so attached to her and her to me. Her and Winston are my world, all I hope is I can provide her with a long healthy and happy life . by @lintorres

First post of 2022 ft. the reason I wake up everyday. I always get told I’m ridiculous how much I love/treat my dog & to that I say I’m sadden you have not found a connection with a pet/ an animal and see how amazing they can be. This 2021 I’m thankful for the dance community here in Seattle. Danced with so many supportive, beautiful & talented people. My heart is full. Here’s to getting out of my comfort zone and sharing my dance more in 2022!
