𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭? 🌀

Last week at Creative Mornings in Berlin @berlin_cm I shared something I deeply believe:

The way we imagine the future changes who we are in the
present.

Inspired by @robhopkins5085 , I took the crowd time-travelling and invited them to start collecting evidence from the future – to walk through their days with their senses sharpened, looking for tiny things that already exist in the world around us that feel like fragments of a beautiful future.🩷

My talk centered around:
🌀imagination as a muscle that can atrophy under stress and burnout
🌀“evidence‑based dreaming” instead of toxic positivity
🌀 imagination as a powerful resource for change-making
🌀practicing temporal fluidity – refusing the single, linear, dystopian storyline

I’m still carrying the images people shared – kids playing on the streets, community gardens, workplaces that feel more human, people feeling more alive and connected, chosen families around long tables. 🩷

This is my invitation to you to remember:
“To create something new, we first have to be able to imagine how things can be different.”

Thank you for the invitation to speak @berlin_cm and for creating and nurturing this beautiful community @anaregisseur 🩷

To all who yearn for change and wish to shape the future of work -

We can’t continue as before. ❌

Our economy needs an update. We firmly believe that a healthy, life-enhancing, and regenerative economy is possible. And we are convinced that the best solutions are generated from within. We believe that innovation arises in co-creation. As the flaws of the existing system become increasingly evident, momentum builds for change that prioritizes sustainability, social justice, and holistic well-being.

In this liminal place, the in-between, change facilitation is a core future skill. 🌀

That’s why we have built a fully-funded 3-month program to encourage, support and guide as many people as possible to become agents of transformation. Together with you, we want to build an economy where companies contribute to solving the biggest problems of our time, rather than worsening them. Because we believe that the future of work belongs to all of us. 🙌

We never imagined that SO MANY people would want to join our program, and it fills us with hope—especially in a time of global political uncertainty. We see business as a powerful lever for societal change. The values we uphold, the stance we take, and the way we lead, collaborate, co-create, and treat each other within organizations shape the world we live in. 💜

If you want to join our movement building a happier, healthier and more regenerative work world, join our Academy✨

The February cohort is fully booked!! 🥹🤭

We just opened the waitlist for cohort #3 and #4 starting end of August 2025 🎉We will be running the program in English AND in German language for the first time this summer!

You can find the link to the waitlist in our bio 🔗

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲? 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲? ✨

And when was the last time you gave yourself the space to really explore these questions?

Somewhere between responsibilities, expectations, and endless to-do lists, we often lose touch with the things that bring us joy, pleasure, and a sense of aliveness.

But what if pleasure wasn’t something we had to earn, but something we could consciously make more room for in our lives?

Inspired by adrienne maree brown’s beautiful work on Pleasure Activism, we want to explore pleasure not as a luxury or an indulgence, but as something deeply human. A source of connection, liberation, and aliveness.

Because making space for pleasure is also a way of reclaiming our agency, reconnecting with what matters to us, and imagining different ways of being in this world.

Next Saturday, Johanna and I invite you to a playful exploration of 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘 ❤️‍🔥🪭🫧

An invitation to slow down, reconnect with your senses, explore what thrills you, what sparks your curiosity, and what makes you feel truly alive.

Together, we’ll give space to our desires, rediscover the little and big things that bring us pleasure, and imagine what a life with more joy, pleasure, and aliveness could look and feel like. 💦

We can’t wait to explore with you. ❤️‍🔥🍒🪭💦 by @lisa.jikeli

Change surrounds us all the time.

A changing role. A new manager. A different way of working together. New technologies and AI raising questions about how we work, and what our contribution might look like in the future.

We often talk about change through what needs to happen: the strategy, the process, the technology, the next step.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁?

What happens when something familiar falls away and we don’t yet know what will take its place?

And what helps us find our way, within ourselves and with each other?

These were some of the questions we explored during my recent Real Talk at GetYourGuide, where I had the pleasure of speaking about a topic deeply close to my heart: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.

Let’s stop looking at change as something we can manage, and instead see it as something we experience. Emotionally, relationally, and sometimes even physically.

And while we cannot always control what changes around us, we can shape how we move through it, individually and collectively.

By cultivating self-awareness.
By listening deeply and building trust.
By making space for uncertainty, discomfort, and possibility.
And by taking small, courageous steps into the unknown, together.

Perhaps the most important thing to remember is that 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at GetYourGuide for the invitation and for creating space for conversations that matter. And to everyone who joined with such openness, curiosity, and willingness to reflect. 🧡

Here’s to bringing more humanity into how we navigate change and shape the future of work together.

🫧 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴?

Somewhere between endless to-do lists, everyday responsibilities and worrying about what the future might hold, we sometimes forget to imagine the futures we’d actually love to live in.

Out of our own longing to reconnect with positive visions of the future, we dreamed up a little experiment — and thought, why not invite others to dream alongside us? ✨

🌈 21 days of collective daydreaming.
🎧 One short guided audio journey every day.
🫧 A little space to pause, imagine and explore what’s possible.

We’ll share our dreams in a collective Dream Journal and look out for little pieces of Future Evidence — glimpses of the futures we’re dreaming of that are already emerging in the here and now.

This is ment to be a playful invitation to make imagining positive futures a daily habit.

Wanna dream with us? 💛

Comment „DREAM“ below and we’ll send you the link to our WhatsApp community.

Let’s see where our imaginations take us!

Vorstellungs-Kraft: Gemeinsam Zukunft gestalten - Lisa Jikeli und Anja Adler, THE GOOD CHANGE

I stumbled across my picture in the global CreativeMornings newsletter this morning 🥹✨

The feature shares my recent keynote with the Berlin community, where we explored a question:

What if it all works out? 🫧

In times of uncertainty, imagining a beautiful future can feel strangely difficult. Yet everything we create - a project, a movement, a different way of living or working - begins with a glimpse of what might be. 💭

As Rainer Maria Rilke wrote: “The future must enter into you long before it happens.”

In the talk, we explored imagination as a creative practice and what I call evidence-based dreaming: drawing on our experiences, strengths and small wins as evidence that more is possible. 🌀

Everyone left with the invitation to keep collecting signs of possibility in everyday life. Moments, ideas and encounters that offer a glimpse of the future we want to create. 💛

🎥 You can stream the whole talk via the link in my bio.

Thank you @anaregisseur @berlin_cm @creativemorning for this opportunity! ✨

In times of crisis, polarization, and growing uncertainty, it’s easy to get caught up in the challenges of the present. But how can we create a better future if we struggle to imagine what it could look like?

@anja.m.adler and I have been invited to explore this very question in our upcoming keynote at the Stronger Together Conference – Gemeinsam Zukunft gestalten: Towards a Resilient and Just Society on November 2nd in Berlin, hosted by @kiga_ev and @tolerantes_brandenburg .

Together, we’ll explore imagination not just as a creative capacity, but as a collective resource, a future skill, and a democratic practice.

🫧How do we envision a future in which diverse communities can truly thrive together?

🫧 How can we move beyond organizational boundaries to collectively shape a more just, inclusive, and regenerative society?

🫧 And how can Futures Literacy help us turn uncertainty into possibility and imagination into collective action?

Through an interactive exploration of possible futures, we’ll invite participants to challenge their assumptions, expand their sense of what’s possible, and discover how shared visions can become a starting point for connection and collective action.

Because imagination isn’t an escape from reality. It’s how we begin to transform it.

And the future isn’t something that just happens to us. It’s something we have the power to imagine, influence, and shape together.

And perhaps, in times like these, reclaiming this very power is one of the most important things we can do. 👉👈

📍 Where: Vertretung des Landes Brandenburg beim Bund, Berlin
📅 When: November 2, 2026
🎟️ Tickets: Free admission

Would love to see some of you there and imagine what’s possible together! 🤍

everything becomes more colorful when we slow down. and, it also becomes easier to hear our inner voice, too.

maybe because slowing down brings us back into our senses. into noticing. feeling. listening.
into being fully where we are.

September felt like a practice in exactly that ~

watching desert sunrises.
driving for hours and hours through landscapes of vastness and soft light.
listening to seabirds.
climbing rocks.
soaking in hotsprings.
standing on a cliff, watching dolphins dance beneath a Pacific Ocean sunset.
taking night walks through the forest.
swimming in wild rivers
and ice-cold lakes.
listening to the sound of the waves.

remembering how much life is happening when we stop rushing through it.

how much beauty lives in the in-between.
how much wisdom our bodies hold when we give them enough space to speak.

Today im starting a new chapter - I’m joining the Federal Ministry for Digitalisation and State Modernisation (BMDS) through the Work4Germany Fellowship to explore this question together with the first German “Change-Referat.” 🦄✨

The ministry, founded just a year ago, has an ambitious mission: to help build a modern, efficient and digitally capable state — by driving public sector innovation, strengthening digital infrastructures, reducing bureaucracy, and making collaboration and processes across Germany’s federal ministries more future-ready.

This “house” brings together around 700 people from six different federal institutions, each with their own cultures, histories and ways of working, under one roof. Helping to build a shared identity as a foundation for more effective, trusting and future-ready collaboration will be at the heart of my work there. 🥹💘

I feel this work sits at the intersection of so many things that matter deeply in our current world: bridging “old” and “new” systems, cultivating togetherness to tackle the big questions of our time, enabling learning, strengthening our capacity for change, and nurturing emotional and relational intelligence — creating the conditions for new ways of working to actually take root. 🌱

And in the context of strengthening our democracy, this feels more important than ever. Supporting public sector organisations in becoming not only more efficient, but also more human-centred in how they work, can help create institutions that people can trust and believe in. 💛

I’m deeply curious to see what emerges from this journey — and incredibly excited and honoured to have been trusted with the opportunity to contribute.
