SHIFTING PARADIGMS

What happens when artists step beyond the familiar and explore new possibilities?

Bringing together Amol Pawar, Sachin Sagare, Sanjay Tikkal and Dinkar Jadhav, Shifting Paradigms explores the evolving nature of artistic practice through new works developed across different mediums, materials and surfaces. Presented alongside selections from their established bodies of work, the exhibition creates a dialogue between the familiar and the unexpected, revealing how experimentation can open up new directions in artistic expression.

A good book (because I met Lyse Doucet)
Champagne (because Amolika makes great suggestions)
An orange  (because sometimes, one must try being healthy)
And coffee, later (because nothing good ever happens without coffee)

Now all I need is to convince myself that sitting at Heathrow for an eight hour layover is curated downtime.

And then you find out your flight is further delayed! by @lisa.pingale

This Diwali, Monalisa Kalagram brings together 20+ artisan-led brands working closely with Indian crafts, traditional techniques and skilled makers from across the country.

Over the years, we’ve been drawn to people who are finding new ways to work with Indian craft — bringing traditional skills, materials and processes into contemporary design. This edition brings together a wonderful selection of brands doing just that, each with its own distinct approach.

Come spend a few days with us this Diwali, discover these beautiful brands, meet the people behind the work, and experience the many ways Indian craft continues to evolve.

A big thank you to everyone in Pune who has visited Contemporary Expressions and supported the exhibition by The Art Edit. And congratulations to Rajneeta Kewalramani on a wonderful show.

We’re delighted to share that, following the incredible response, the exhibition has been extended until 30th September.

We’ve also added a few new works. If you haven’t visited yet, come by the gallery and spend some time with the exhibition.
