Before we close the end of 2023, I want to share with you all one of this years personal achievements… because in so many ways it will resonate with you.

For a few years now I’ve been passionate about Phoenix Children’s, mostly due to our family’s personal experience navigating the world of allergy and immunology with our littles
Fast forward- I’ve build incredible friendships with physicians, executives, nurses and staff in the organization…
Since day one, my husband and I always knew how blessed we were to be able to provide this level of care for our littles and whole heartedly Phoenix Children’s became part of our philanthropic circle.
In expressing my passion to my Dear friend Steve S. Executive at pch I asked how I can do more, how I can volunteer, and be there for the families… again fast forward… on a later meeting, he extended an invitation to get interviewed by the board!! I was humbled by his compliments and by what he saw in me, to be along side a team of incredible giving humans. After some exciting interviews with members and the president of the hospital Bob M, I was given a position as a foundation board member!! A fun fact there at 13 Males & we are 3 Females in our group!
Still can’t get over it and it’s such an honor 🙏🏼 It’s been fun and it’s only the beginning… I plan this relationship to be a life long journey, one that I can pass on to our kids and raise them in the act of giving.

People are inherently generous and they want to make a difference. It’s just not always clear how to do that – how to find good information about philanthropic organizations or how to get involved in causes you care about.
Healthcare, children and families hold a dear place in my heart. If you are like me and feel the want to help in any form please reach out, I would love to help you get involved, just like i did in the beginning, thus the reason as to why I’ve shared this little milestone in my life.

On August 22, 3 years ago today, I became HIS wife and he became MY husband. ⁣⁣💍

I’m so lucky to have you by my side my darling. You’re my soulmate, you’re my best friend, my absolute everything! ⁣⁣

I pray that we continue to have this strong beautiful bond, that we contrinue to grow with one another, I pray for health, for peace, for joy and this forever passion. ⁣⁣

I promise you to always give you my best, in being your loving wife, the best mother to our babies, and keep making you incessantly proud. ⁣⁣

The way you speak about me/our relationship makes me giddy and I’ll never want that to fade. ⁣⁣

Everything that is epic in life take work. Takes consistency. I’m grateful today because this beautiful milestone is because @deangraziosi and I work at our love, we don’t waver we make sure we put each other first. We respect, love and admire one another for what our gifts are. I can go on and on but you get my message here. ⁣⁣
So if you have someone in your life you love. Give it your All and go all in. And if you don’t have “your person”, just know they are out there getting ready for you as you are getting ready for them. Your thoughts become reality, but never forget where you came from ⁣⁣

As homeroom mom, I wanted to bring us together to get to know each other a little better while making something special for our kids… a little keepsake for our Littles. 💙💛

There’s something so sweet about sitting around a table, creating, laughing, and getting to know the moms you’re sharing this season of life with. We had the best time, and every one of us left wanting to do it again!

I left today’s All In luncheon feeling so grateful to be part of the Phoenix Children’s community. More than 600 people gathered around a mission bigger than any one of us. ♥️

Dean spoke from the heart about change, courage, and confidence. Our CEO, John Nickens, gave us a glimpse of what’s ahead for Phoenix Children’s, and Dr. Funda Bachini’s words about children’s mental health stayed with me. It was especially meaningful to honor the legendary Steve Schnall, His 43 years of dedication have shaped so much of what PC is today and his guidance and encouragement have meant the world to me.

Serving on the Phoenix Children’s Foundation Board and co-founding Phoenix Children’s Ambassadors with Brittany has brought me close to people who pour their hearts into this mission. I feel blessed to learn from them and to play a small part in what they’re building for children and families.

One of the things I’ve learned about long-term relationships is that you don’t just fall in love with a person.

You fall in love with a person who is going to change.

They’re going to have new dreams. New priorities. New fears. New seasons.

They’re going to become versions of themselves you couldn’t have predicted when you first met.

And so will you.

That’s part of the deal.

It’s easy to say you want someone who supports your growth.

The harder question is:

Can you support theirs?

Can you give them room to change without taking it personally?

Can you stay curious about who they’re becoming instead of expecting them to always be who they were?

Can you keep getting to know the person you love?

Because after enough years together, you’ve both lived a lot of lives inside the same relationship.

I’m so grateful @lisafresa has made room for so many versions of me. And I hope she knows I’ll always make room for every version of her that’s still to come.

Maybe that’s one of the greatest gifts we can give the person we love:

Teaching Vida, Luca, and Brody that it’s wonderful to enjoy the blessings we’ve been given…but even more meaningful to use those blessings to give back. ♥️ True success is not measured by what we accumulate, but by what we contribute and the impact we leave behind.

This beautiful Kids Helping Kids event was created by my dear friends @tiffyp23 and @jamienicole_rome . Thank you for always giving our children the opportunity to make their own special memories while supporting Phoenix Children’s.

There’s nothing I love more than putting a little extra thought into a theme…especially when I know how much thought the hostesses put into creating the evening for all of us.

After completely geeking out over Practical Magic. I wanted to create a little hostess gift that felt like it belonged in the Owens house…think garden, romance, apothecary, a little magic….

I started with these beautiful brass-and-glass cloches from @target Hearth & Hand w/ Magnolia collection @magnolia …hunted high and low for miniature red roses in Arizona… which apperantly are not in season right now 🫠, repotted them in vintage clay pots from Etsy, and added moss to create a little garden under glass.

I had previously been gifted these darling garden-tool serving pieces from @anthropologiehome⁠…the ones I’m using in the video… and thought they were SO fitting for the theme that I ordered two more for the hostesses. Naturally…they arrived two days after the party. 🙃

So, we pivoted. I found @jomalonelondon Lavender & Moonflower and Moonlit Camomile Pillow Mists and honestly…the names alone were Practical Magic perfection.

I finished everything with a thank you note inspired by their invitation, printed on thick textured paper, singed the edges, and added burgundy velvet ribbon. 🌹

What an incredible honor for my husband @deangraziosi and me to be the second couple in the history of SUCCESS Magazine to grace its cover. Founded in 1897, SUCCESS has such a remarkable legacy, and we’re so grateful to the entire team for this unforgettable experience…and for the beautiful memories captured with our children that we’ll cherish forever. @successmagazine by @lisafresa

The best of both worlds ✏️🚌✂️🎓📚

Our son has never been in a traditional school or spent his days away from me, and homeschooling him has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

With our daughter, a sweet little private church school unexpectedly fell into our laps. She attends for just a few hrs, a few days a week, and for this season, it works perfectly for our family.

Homeschool will always be our bread and butter, but I truly believe both paths have beautiful benefits, and their own challenges. The best choice is simply the one that works for your family.

Never choose a path because someone else tells you it’s what you “should” do. Listen to your heart, trust your instincts, and do what feels right for your children and your family.

Everything in life has a season…and for now, this is ours.

On this anniversary, I found myself looking through so many pictures… so many memories… so many moments since I met this incredible woman.

But today, I decided to go all the way back to where it started — the day she said yes, and we said “I do.”

There are a thousand things I could say on an anniversary. But maybe the simplest is this:

Marrying you was the greatest decision of my life.

Since that day, we’ve blended our families, brought two incredible little humans into this world, built a life together, laughed more than I can count… and walked through the real stuff too.

The kind of life experiences that strip away the superficial and bond you at a level you could never understand on your wedding day.

And through all of it, I’ve watched you become an even more extraordinary woman.

I admire you.
I respect you.
I’m proud of you.
And I love you more deeply today than I did on the day in this video.

I’m so damn grateful you said yes to me @lisafresa
