🌊 Covered the Solento Surf Festival for Cardiff Living - add this series of events to your annual must attend list ✔️

Founded by award-winning filmmaker & Solento Tequila Founder, Taylor Steele, this seven day local Fest blends everything we love about coastal life — beach cleanups, inspiring filmmaker Q&As, ocean-minded films, live music, art shows, and a lot of creative people coming together to celebrate surf culture then and now.

With live tunes at La Paloma from Jack Johnson, Kelly Slater & Rob Machado, it was pure Encinitas surf magic. ✨ After parties at Breakers kept all going strong late into the nights.

Already counting down to next fall’s Festival that takes place right in our backyard — more at solentosurffestival.com.

Co-chairing the Cabernet Cookoff @hallwines each Spring is so meaningful❤️! 15 Bay Area chef teams create a dish that they think pairs with HALL Cabernet and each team competes for a charity of their choice.

Four incredible winning dishes were announced on April 12 at HALL’s St. Helena location which will help support four deserving non-profit organizations. I feel that everyone came out a winner by showing up and sipping up 🍷

Judges’ Choice Winner
Il Posto Trattoria @ilpostonapa
Justin Graffigna @jgraffigna9
Charity: Horn Heart Foundation @hornheartfoundation

Judges’ Choice Runner Up
One Market Restaurant @onemarketsf
Chef Mark Dommen @mdommen
Charity: Breakthrough T1D @breakthrought1dhq

People’s Choice Winner
Silverado Resort (The Grill) @silveradoresort
Patrick Prager @chefpatrickprager
Charity: No Kid Hungry @nokidhungry

People’s Choice Runner Up
The Watermark Napa Valley by Discovery Senior Living @watermarknapavalley
Adam Rowley
Charity: Share the Care Napa Valley @sharethecarenv

We thank our sponsors, celebrity judges @nataliemoralestv @jenniferwayne @saumdays and HALL’s Rockstar Winemaker, Megan Gunderson 👏

We don’t have to change the world, we just need to show up, give back and do something. It all adds up…it all matters.

❤️ See you next year!
