🌊 Mark your calendars, North County — Sessions Surf Festival is back September 12-19, and this is THE best ticket of the season.🔥

Founded by legendary surf filmmaker (and Solento Tequila founder) Taylor Steele, this festival has drawn the biggest names in surf culture — think Kelly Slater, Rob Machado and Jack Johnson — and I can tell you firsthand after covering it last year that nothing else captures the soul of our coastline quite like this week. Music, surf, film, art, tequila, and community, all on our stretch of the 101. Everyone is making new friends at Sessions.☀️

Here’s the 2026 lineup of events:

🎸 Music Session — Sept 12, Seaside Reef (12pm–10pm) headlined by the Osees, with Unwritten Law, Bully, Yoke Lore, MT Warning, Jack Shields and the Mojave Rush + Emily Afton.

🏄‍♀️ Seaside Reef Beach Day — Sept 13, FREE community surf contest + live music into the evening.

🎨 Art Sessions — Sept 14–19, free pop-up creative hub on the 101 featuring 10 artists all week.

🎬 Film Sessions — Sept 17–19 at the historic La Paloma Theatre: surf films, panels, and live music.

Last year’s event sold out so grab your tickets at sessionssurffestival.com and we’ll see you on the sand or @lapalomatheatre. 🤙

We had an epic Saturday going to two parties with the girls’ cousins on the same day. So much fun celebrating Daisy’s ninth birthday with a pool party & attending the annual cousins party at Ponto State beach. What an ultimate Southern California summer day ⛱️
