We are so excited to welcome you to the @treeoflifeshoppe.ig in Ringtown, PA for a SUPER ADORABLE kitten yoga fundraiser on Sunday, October 4th. Choose from 1 or 3 pm classtimes! Together we'll enjoy a one-hour gentle yoga class with Lisa Mo, appropriate for folks with all levels of yoga experience--beginners welcome. Adoptable kitties from @savethestraysschuylkill will be on site to bring all the cuteness and cuddles as we wind down and relax into a snuggly savasana! Please dress comfortably for movement, and bring a bottle of water to class. A limited number of yoga mats are available to borrow on a FCFS basis, if needed, but please bring your own if you're able. This experience is open to ages 12+. Under 18's must attend class with an accompanying adult. $20 investment. Class size is limited, so sign up ASAP, as we expect this event to sell out! Join Yoga Flow with Lisa Mo at @riverrunhealingarts for a very special blend of restorative yoga and the healing energy of Reiki. Presented in a warm, softly lit room with ambient music, this class requires no previous yoga experience. Gift yourself this unique blend of modalities as an opportunity for self-care on Sunday, September 27 at 5:45 pm. -Class will be 75 minutes in length. -Investment is $18. Current River Run Septmber passholders may enter code RIVER for a $10 discount. -Class size is limited, so pre-registration via Calendly is recommended to guarantee your spot in class. We will begin respectfully at 5:45. Restorative yoga is a completely different experience than most other styles of yoga. Together we will be guided through a series of grounded postures where the body is completely supported by props (bolsters, blocks, etc.) that are held for a longer duration, allowing the body to open through passive stretching. While these poses are held, Lisa will circulate throughout the room to share Reiki energy with each participant. Reiki is a Japanese method of working with the universal life-force energy within us all. It can help promote relaxation while reducing stress and anxiety by guiding energy throughout the body to promote the recipient's self-healing abilities. When the body enters a state of relaxation the mind can also consciously relax as tension is released from both body and mind. by @lisamoyoga
