First and foremost….THANK YOU to the indefatigable Gloria Steinem - who inspired & challenged us to tap into our “hero within” to improve the lives of women ⭐️💪🏼❤️ -with the knowledge that we still had much work to do…. so let’s all DO OUR PART to keep her flame burning bright 💥🔥 To honor her incomparable legacy, let’s aim to claim the victories women rightfully deserve > equal pay, the right to choose, more female leadership - including The White House….She has “passed the torch” and it’s now our collective obligation to CARRY ON with the important work >> to advance and support females. by @lisasmilor

#FlagDay 🇺🇸 is a day of hope….. that one day the United States of America WILL be united, and that there will be equality + “liberty and justice” for all.

@CFDA Member @alexisbittar is leading an important movement #reclaimtheflag 🇺🇸 to bring attention to what our flag was intended to represent….and to encourage everyone to (re)commit to that premise.

For me, the flag represents “what is possible” >> the SPIRIT of coming together for the greater good of our entire Nation’s people (and our natural resources) - and that’s why I am reclaiming it. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 is #NOTmaga - it belongs to ALL of us. Today, let’s celebrate and BELIEVE in our ability to create a better future for our Country within the next 250 years! by @lisasmilor

Beloved #MAXWELLS closed nearly 13 years ago…..and tonight was the first time I ventured through the doorway I used to cross at least 4 or 5 times a week. At @sirenettahoboken (#oldMaxwells) I had some #COTUIT (Cape Cod) oysters accompanied by a 🍸 and a Kale Caesar salad (*popcorn instead of croutons was rather genius) followed by gelato: vanilla mascarpone, mint chocolate chip and banana chocolate swirl……but it didn’t (not even close!) hold up to the bygone days - - that I miss so much!! 😩🎸🎤🚬🎶 taken in Sirenetta Seafood & Raw Bar by @lisasmilor
