MISS UNIVERSE MORNING RITUAL ! 🫶✨🌸✨ It was an incredible honour to put together a small team to style hair for the Miss Universe CaNADA delegates last week… But the icing on the cake was the be able to lead us in our morning ritual to embrace our fluidity in energy, ground ourselves and set our intentions for a big shoot day !! Being around a group of such kind, compassionate, smart, driven humans filled my heart and inspired us all !!! Thank you for all of the incredible feedback , I’ve truly never received such a big group hug ! Let’s start with THE MAKEUP 🤩 💄 🪄 It all began with a vision… and we all know that the mind of Kelly Henderson @house.of.hendo , has a way with the wind and a precious kind of creative purity ✨ She showed me some sketches , and gifted me with 1,000 dried flowers to re-create into something new 🤩The gift was getting to create an individual colour palettes, custom lashes and placement for each model and design ! Whooooa 🫠🙌 Such a dream !! I got to watch my team follow the placements, and create magic beyond what we hoped for 🙏 HUGE shout out to our Hair + Makeup team for your innate vision and skills 🙏 I always like to start shows with a little energy cleanse, movement .. and connective practice to ground our energy and dive into pure presence 🫶 They seem to enjoy it hehe :) THANK YOU Kelly for having us … this collection was moving, majestic and beyond words ! I had the honour of working with this INSANELY Talented soul … Skye Sweetnam, and her band @sumocyco 🙌I was gifted with some creative freedom for one of the band photoshoots … and knew we wanted to go with something edgy, yet girly and bold 🤘I cut some peices off of a wig I had used earlier in our shoot, and tied a baby elastic in the middle of each section … Point cut the edges … ✂️ … and sprayed them on an angle with some pink to create a baby sombre … and pinned them to her baby space buns 💕IF You give this a try … I WANNA SEE 🤗 What cha think ? 🤗 Wardrobe @brandonkeir #hairlove #creativecuration #sumocyco #hairpeices #funeditorialhair #torontohairstylist #hairandmakeup #rockandroll #artist #musician #pinkspikeybair by @lisatuff_tilu
