RECIPE HERE 👇

Chimichurri

1 bunch cilantro
1 bunch flat leaf parsley
4 cloves garlic
1/2 red onion
salt
italian blend seasoning
crushed red pepper
2-4 splashes of red wine vinegar
olive oil
optional but recommended: honey

1. de-stem, then chop cilantro and parsley

2. mince garlic and finely chop onion and add these plus a splash of oil, vinegar and seasonings to the bowl

3. mix everything together

4. stir in more olive oil and vinegar until desired consistency and taste

BONUS: add in honey to cut bitterness (you will not taste any honey flavor, and honey >>> sugar)

WHY YOU SHOULD HAND CHOP:

Look, I know this would be easier to just throw this all into a blender and hit a button, however, mechanical processing can lead to more bitterness, so best option is to hand chop and combine all ingredients without blender or food processor.

I’ve had friends that dislike other chimichurri because of the bitterness LOVE my recipe, so I promise it’s worth the few extra minutes.

Save this for later and if you make it let me know what you think! 🫶

It’s a new month and 2026 feels like it’s going to be 🔥

2025 was a year of growth in so many ways.. some of it beautiful, some of it uncomfortable, and I’m really excited to see what this year brings.

Now that we’re away from the holiday haze, I’m feeling clearer, more grounded and more intentional.

I’m spending less time doing for the sake of doing, and more choosing what actually matters.

I’m moving into this year with better boundaries, deeper trust in my intuition, and a stronger sense of alignment than I’ve had in a long time.

ANNNND my training has been the most consistent it has in YEARS and I’m having so much fun experimenting with movement. New programs dropping soooooon 🤘

Confession: I break rules I used to preach.

Fitness is full of rules and they’re usually well-intended, butttttttt they’re not required for results.

With age and experience comes wisdom and as I enter my 15th year in this industry I’ve learned…

Rigid rules make real life harder, not healthier, and this keeps your goals just outside of reach instead of within grasp.

Real life includes:
• stress
• travel
• grief and hardship
• unexpected meetings
• changing capacity

Rules break under real life.

What not only helps you survive, but thrive?

The learned ability to adapt, adjust, and re-prioritize any or all facets of your health and fitness. These are skills that can be taught to you in a short time.

Context and nuance always matters. by @lisawishmann

She came wanting to set a better example for her kids and find both fitness and nutrition routines that would work with her schedule as mother and a business owner.

She ended StrongHER with habits that have STUCK for the first time in her life (still going strong almost a year later) and improved her relationship with herself and others in her life.

Are you ready for lasting change? StrongHER 003 is waiting for YOU.

DM me to see if this is the right fit.

Strength is NOT built in the gym first.

It’s starts with the tiny decisions you make when no one is watching.

The food you fuel your body with.

The care you give your soul.

It’s built in how you sleep.

How you recover and how you speak to yourself when motivation is gone.

It’s built in choosing consistency over extremes.

Fulfillment over punishment.
Support over self-criticism.

The gym reveals strength, but your life is where it’s actually built.

Give me 12 weeks and I’ll teach you how to integrate these tiny moments to change your life. by @lisawishmann

Ladies, if you’ve ever wondered why you start strong every January and burn out by February, this is for you.

Most women fail because they’re taught to focus on the wrong things.

Failure doesn’t come from being lazy, unmotivated, or from a lack of discipline.

Here are the most common mistakes I see women make year after year that become obvious in January:

• Choosing intensity over sustainability

• Following generic programs not built for their body, schedule, life demands, or stress load

• Treating food like a math equation instead of a support system

• Chasing motivation instead of building structure

• Ignoring the mental and emotional side of change

• Believing discipline alone should be enough

None of this works long-term, especially for women juggling careers, families, mental load, life transitions, and hormonal shifts.

Real progress comes from doing what actually fits your real, not ideal life.

This means:

• Training that is designed for and adapts to you

• Nutrition to support your energy instead of control it

• Education to understand WHY you’re doing what you’re doing (this is the big one)

• Accountability that doesn’t shame you when life inevitably happens

If your resolutions keep resetting every January and dissipate by February, it’s time for a change that will actually stick.

The systems you were given were never designed to help YOU succeed.

StrongHER exists to change that.

Over the years, the same themes come up again and again in conversations with women:

“I don’t trust myself anymore.”
“I don’t know what my body needs.”
“I’m tired, but I still want to feel strong.”
“There’s so much information and none of it feels clear.”
“What used to work doesn’t anymore.”

These are capable women who are showing up consistently and feeling stuck.

Does this sound like you?

The pattern is a lack of context, not effort.

Whole-person coaching matters here.

Physical, mental, emotional, and situational factors ALL shape progress.

Ignoring one hinders the rest.

When those pieces are acknowledged, the work becomes steadier, less reactionary, and more grounded.

That shift changes how women relate to training, nutrition, and themselves.

If you’ve said any of the above to yourself in the last six months, send me a DM and let’s talk.

Here are 5 things I’m doing to recover from travel👇 and honestly, they work anytime you need a mini reset or a quick pick-me-up:

• Waking with the sun is CRUCIAL for helping my circadian rhythm realign with my environment

• Electrolytes for rehydrating properly after flights, long days, and disrupted sleep

• Getting outside ASAP because morning light, movement, and fresh air

• Whole food balanced meals that support digestion and energy instead of adding stress with complicated recipes

• Red lights come on 60 minutes before bed because it doesn’t shut down melatonin the way bright or blue light does, so my brain can actually register that it’s nighttime and start the wind down process.

None of this is extreme.
ALL of it is grounding.
Small inputs. Big return.

Save this for your next trip, or your next reset day!

You don’t need more pressure from January.

You need recovery.

Recovery from:

• the holidays
• family demands
• hosting
• travel
• disrupted routines
• people pleasing
• mental overload

This is the season to rebuild structure that actually fits where you are right now.

INSTEAD OF forcing intensity or punish your body into compliance.

That’s how momentum forms.

Not loudly.
Not dramatically.
Not aggressively.

But in a way that lasts and truly becomes sustainable.

StrongHER starts here.

“If you really wanted it, you’d just be more disciplined.”

The reality:

Discipline breaks down when capacity is exceeded.

“We all have the same 24 hours in the day.”

Stress, sleep deprivation, cognitive load, and emotional strain all affect:

• recovery
• motivation
• energy availability
• follow-through

Chronic stress doesn’t just make it harder to stay disciplined. It actively impairs the brain systems that make discipline possible. Research shows that prolonged stress disrupts the prefrontal cortex, leading to reduced working memory, attention, and cognitive flexibility, which are the very tools needed for self-control and goal-directed behavior (Girotti et al., 2024).

Under high stress, the brain shifts from deliberate, reflective control to reactive, habit-driven responses, reducing someone’s ability to plan or persist through difficulty.

In other words, when capacity is exceeded, discipline doesn’t fail, the system protecting your energy and cognition simply does its job.

This isn’t weakness.

It’s physiology and psychology doing exactly what they’re designed to do.

Any system that ignores capacity will eventually collapse.

StrongHER builds the foundation for lasting strength and follow-through.
