Hi, hey, it’s me. SURPRISE. I’m the bookstagrammer behind the page. I live off vibes, so most of what you’ll find here are feel good things, whether it be book reviews or recs that I vibed with, funny bookish content, or pretty pics of books.

I’m a big supporter of we each have different things that make us who we are and things that we love, so if something here doesn’t vibe with you— please just move on along. This space was created to make new friends that share my love for books, not to bash on people.

Kthanks😘 let me know if we have something in common & be my friend!🫶🏼 by @lit_withheather

Idk about you, but I’m just here to have a good time. And to me a good time is emotional destruction with a side of smut, fae, and wolf shifters😏😍 by @lit_withheather

I am screaming this from mountain tops: if you have not picked up this indie release, please please please go! Run!

This is a high romantasy with such an incredibly unique world and magic system. For having so many dark themes, she somehow brought light into the story via the character’s personalities. So many good quotes related to strength and resisting the cage that political figures can try to place you in, which is very much needed in our current world.

Plus, if you order directly from @kategliskeauthor website, you get some pretty cool inclusions and a really pretty special edition while they last! by @lit_withheather

Currently reading: Tallow & Bone by @rhiannonhargadon

I’m only 8% in, but it’s fitting the October vibes perfectly so far. A family on the move again due to the risk of being discovered having a witch in their midst, they find themselves in Salem. It’s got the eerieness and constant fear/looking over your shoulder that you would expect, but add in humor between characters that has me cackling. Plus there’s been a random masked 𝓶𝓪𝓷❓

What are you reading this weekend? Did you stick with your ACOTAR reread plans or have you abandoned to go with the vibes of new worlds?

Did The Incendiary take over everything for September? Pretty much. But don’t worry, I still had some other really good reads!

The Lumemaker is one of my favorite indie reads of the year so far! It kept me on my toes with plot twists and the magic system is like nothing I’ve read.

I’m really excited for the release of This Wretched Alchemy to eyeball read it and really immerse myself in the world. The plot seemed diabolical, but it was just high brain power imo, so I got lost a time or two. OOPS. But I already have it on pre-order, so here’s to November 10th!🤭 (Thank you @netgalley for the ALC🙏🏼).

The Seasons of Carnage trilogy was so fun. I love a Brynne Weaver romcom with serial killers. She brings just the right amount of humor and murder with some mystery to spice this one up! by @lit_withheather

I am FERAL for more of their POVs, but I feel like RY has some ruthless Sgaeyl qualities about her and will absolutely take it away from happening too soon for the angst it’ll add knowing we all want it now😆 here’s to hoping anyway!🤞🏼🤞🏼

Are Xaden & Violet still your favs or has anyone else taken the reins?👀 by @lit_withheather

ＨＡＰＰＹＯＣＴＯＢＥＲ❗️

I’m not committed to any of these except for ACOSH (duh) and I’m currently listening to Fourth Wing (dramatized version). But they all felt like good options to include in Octobers TBR, so let’s see how different my recap looks by the end of the month😆

what do you think.. will I stick to it or vary significantly?🤔 Feel free to influence me below👇🏼 by @lit_withheather

• a comfy crewneck sweater with a phrase that makes me melt instantly🫠 the inside is so soft and the heart embroidered on the sleeve is such a cute little touch!

Items are made to order once you purchase to help eliminate waste, which is so thoughtful of our planet♥️♥️

MAKE WAY FOR THE KING OF YEARNING. My heart is still located in a puddle on the floor. @ljclaren wrote some of the most beautiful characters, a great plot, and a love story for the ages. I’m not sure that I will ever recover from this series (or at least the first 2 books that are out).

Look out for smutty nurse rounds on The Incendiary to come soon!

As a procedural nurse, I don’t have to round on patients— so I’m rounding on books instead. From signs and symptoms to diagnosis and prescription, every “patient” (book) gets a full assessment. You choose whether to add to your TBR or get a second opinion😉 by @lit_withheather
