Up next from my folder of “never show these to anyone” it was delightful and terrifying to come back to class after getting injured a few weeks before. As usual theres always more going on, and I wont get to dance like this for a very long time. But im so grateful. Few things felt as important as dancing did. And this is still so so early!!!! Just a fat, queer, nonbinary, pansexual, polyamorous, chronically ill witch at My very first class!!! Dancing and being seen puts you right in your weeds. But great news, i love to garden. This class was fascinating cause there were so many first timers (cue people breaking down in the bathrooms) and youre getting to watch others show up for themselves in real time. As for me i did want to immediately run as soon as i entered the room and did think filming might literally kill me. I hate that this is a thing that makes this real.
After over a year of what can only be described as hospice care, me, the guides, and all applicable, made the call to release our sweet friend, Lilly Dale Dragon, from her little body. Lilly has a legacy, lore, and a very full life story. More than I could certainly ever cram into one post, and the absolute wash of pictures… enough to replace all the water in Niagra Falls. So there will be more, and please feel free to ask and contribute! I know she is a fan favorite. She was a fan favorite long before I ever knew her, back when she was a little working Healers kitty. She “retired” and moved in with me when she was 6, almost ten years ago. Of course, anyone who has had a virtual read with me knows that she most certainly did not seem to consider herself retired at those times. She couldnt stay away from me if I was channeling, casting, clearing, or, her particular favorite, playing guitar and singing. I have never in my life met a cat with her body language or more particularities(thus, dragon. Not cat) who knew what she wanted so clearly and who spoke so directly(and loudly omfg). I always recall when I told her so many years ago that was she was my favorite person. It came out of my mouth without me and was, and remains, absolutely true. Her death and ritual around it were truly beautiful and sacred. For that, I am especially grateful. I can not recommend @lapofloveveterinaryhospice more highly. Or the people who showed up to support me and Lilly. We were both so blessed to have you all, and to have each other. (Cont in comments) by @littlefevers
