Our founder struggled with chronic illness for three years before she found relief via a clean, whole food diet—a transformation so profound she started Abbot’s to share the power of plant-rich nutrition with as many people as possible.

If you’re unsure where to start, or are searching for a trusted resource as you navigate what it means to eat “clean,” we invite you to join us on this transformative (and delicious) journey. by @liveabbots

School lunch, the Abbot’s way.

Nourishing, colorful, and most importantly, full of foods kids actually want to eat.

We’re giving an A+ to this crispy, air-fried Dijon Chick’n recipe. It’s high in protein, full of flavor, and leftovers end up in wraps and salads for parent lunches on the go.

A weeknight pasta that doesn’t ask too much of you. 🍝

Italian “Sausage” rigatoni is quick, nourishing, and very forgiving. Toss in whatever veggies are in your fridge for a little extra fiber and goodness.

Our Italian “Sausage” brings 18g of protein per serving, plus a subtle heat that zhuzhes up a basic plate of pasta.

Save this one for the nights when you want something easy that still makes you feel good. by @liveabbots

Back-to-school dinner inspiration: Crispy Chick’n Caesar Salad Pita Pizzas 🍕🥬 say that one ten times fast 😂

This one checks a lot of boxes for us: something the kids think is fun, plenty of plants, a good source of protein, and most importantly, something we’re genuinely excited to eat too!

Because we don’t do the “kid food” and “adult food.” 1 family, 1 meal 👍

We start with a whole wheat pita and a creamy cashew Caesar spread, add crispy Abbot’s Chopped Chick’n, then pile on cold crunchy romaine, and crispy kale.

I love having @liveabbots on hand for meals like this because it’s convenient, made with 100% real food ingredients, and adds plant-based protein and iron to the meal. Find it in the refrigerated section of Whole Foods, Sprouts, Kroger, Target, and other grocers.

Here’s how to make it! 👉

Set oven to 400 degrees F.

Warm a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and lightly coat with oil. Add the Chopped Chick’n and sauté until thoroughly crisped & browned - about 6 to 8 minutes.

While chick’n cooks, combine the following in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth 👉
* ¾ cup raw cashews (soaked in hot water for 20-30 minutes if your blender isn’t really powerful )
* 1/2 cup water + more as needed to thin out
* 1/4 cup lemon juice
* 4 teaspoons capers or caper brine
* 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
* 1 small garlic clove
* ½ white miso (optional but adds good flavor)
* Salt and pepper to taste

Add 2 cups washed, dried, and chopped kale leaves to a baking sheet. Toss with 1-2 teaspoons olive oil and massage until evenly coated. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Place two pitas on a baking sheet and distribute ~1/2 of the cashew spread between the two pitas. Top with Chick’n.

Add pitas and kale chips to the preheated oven. Cook kale chips for ~5 minutes, until crispy. Keep a close eye to ensure they don’t burn. Cook flatbread for 10 minutes.

Top flatbread with 1/2 cup chopped romaine, kale chips, and remaining dressing.

Option to add plant-based parmesan and diced tomatoes. Enjoy!

Save this one for your back-to-school dinner rotation. ❤️

We’re not saying you have to make this Late Summer Panzanella before summer ends...
...but that exceptional summer produce won’t be here forever.

Our Ground “Beef” and an abundance of roasted veggies and stone fruit transforms this indulgent Italian classic into a nourishing meal that’s packed with gut-friendly nutrients and peak-season flavor.

Ingredients:
Extra virgin olive oil, for grilling
3 ¾ inch slices gluten free artisan bread or sourdough
1 medium zucchini, halved
1 small red onion, halved
2 plums, halved
1 package Abbot’s Ground “Beef”
4 ounces vegan mozzarella cheese, cubed
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 yellow bell pepper, large diced
Fresh basil

For the dressing:
¼ cup olive oil
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:
1. Heat the grill to medium-high and oil the grates.
2. Brush the bread, zucchini, onion, and plums with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
3. Grill the bread, vegetables, and plums until lightly charred, 3 minutes per side.
4. Cut the bread into bite-size cubes, slice zucchini, chop the onion, and slice the plum halves into quarters.
5. Cook the Ground “Beef” according to the package instructions.
6. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, Dijon, salt and pepper.
7. Add the bread, zucchini, onion, plum, mozzarella, tomatoes, and bell pepper to a large bowl or serving platter. Drizzle on the dressing and toss to combine. Garnish with fresh basil. by @liveabbots

When you start with real food, you don’t have to fake the flavor. You won’t find anything artificial in our foods; just peas, real herbs and spices, vinegar, and EVOO.

When life gives you the good stuff, you just need to know how to put it all together. by @liveabbots

One of our Veggie Burgers got a little summer glow up.

Our Garlic & Herb is now the Roasted Garlic & Quinoa Veggie Burger. Along with a fresh new name, we made some thoughtful recipe tweaks to better balance the bold garlic flavor with the subtle hint of herbs.

Already a fan? No worries; we kept the same hearty bite and clean ingredient profile. Tried it once and weren’t convinced? We think it’s worth another bite. by @liveabbots

Not all plant based proteins are created equal 🌱💪

When I’m choosing mock meats, I’m looking for three things: good ingredients, solid macros & GREAT taste. And @liveabbots checks all three. 🙌

Their Fajita Chick’n has 11g of plant protein per serving, simple ingredients, no artificial flavors, and it’s non-GMO. 🌱

Fitness friendly AND foodie approved. 🤌🔥
