Dash The Henge Store presents: DELICATESSEN on THURSDAY 29TH OCTOBER in the surroundings of St Giles’ Church, Camberwell, a 200 year old Gothic Revival church located in South East London

Alongside the screening, a musical performance by THE GROAN will set the tone for the evening. Followed by the premiere of short film A MATTED SPOOL by Paddy Hornby and Kyle McCarthy

A percentage of every ticket sold will be contributed to The Friends of St Giles’

The Friends of St Giles’ was founded in the 1980’s to help raise funds for the repair and maintenance of St Giles

It recognises that St Giles’ plays a significant role in the secular life of SE5, in particular through the development of community involvement in music and the arts taken in St Giles' Church, Camberwell by @liveatstgiles

Last night MA:EL performed SUNDOGS Live At St Giles, surrounded by a unique installation of aluminum candles made specifically for the show, casting a soft, reflective light that echoed the music perfectly.

Developed over two years, the EP takes its name from sundogs, the luminous patches of light that sometimes appear either side of the sun. Across its ambient electronic landscape, Maël explores their shifting textures, distortion and melody.

MA:EL is the project of Maël Hénaff, a French artist, designer and producer based in London. His work explores how design, music, film and technology can help us imagine alternative futures, and he leads the MA Material Futures course at Central Saint Martins.

For ten years, @organoke has filled St Giles’ Church with people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs coming together to sing with a live band and an iconic 1844 church organ.

They've welcomed thousands of people who would never come to evensong, but love to belt out Britney beneath a Grade II* listed vaulted ceiling.

Parish churches were built as the centre of community life. Even if it is Karaoke that brings people together, communal joy is will always be a traditional use of a beautiful spiritual space....
