🌱 Connecting, Growing & Empowering Our Community! 💚

What a great day of networking and building meaningful connections at the CLTivate Community Event!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the ZEN table to learn more about our mission, programs, and opportunities to get involved! We loved sharing how ZEN is making a difference in our community. 🌿

A special shoutout to our intern, Isaiah, who gained valuable hands-on experience connecting with community members, sharing ZEN's mission, discussing his role within the organization, and highlighting the importance of volunteers in helping us grow our impact.

At ZEN, we believe in more than growing fresh food. We're growing relationships, developing future leaders, and creating opportunities for people to serve with purpose! 💚

Because when we connect, we grow. And when we grow together, our communities thrive! 🌱

Join me on November 7th from 10-11 a.m. to support one of my favorite west side nonprofits, @livelearnplay_ot.

Live, Learn, Play is an outdoor preschool that focuses on the whole child - mind, body, and spirit. Play-based and evidence-based, lessons are individualized for each child.

The children get to interact with llamas, chickens, rabbits and more, while using nature as their play space!

They are currently in the midst of their Capitol Campaign, to bring some of that play indoors, with a maker space and room for more educational tools.

No sign-up is necessary. Simply scan the QR code on the next slide and show proof of your donation, or show up and scan the codes available on the day of class!

I hope to see you there!

We spent all of September learning all about bugs/insects/arthropods and there's still so much more we can continue exploring but our next month will take us on a adventure learning all about...reptiles and amphibians 💚

Bees aren't just good for honey, pollinators also help flowers, veggies and fruits grow 😍

...so of course we had to make a parfait dedicated to pollinators near and far 💚🦋🐝🐜 by @livelearnplay_ot
