✨ MEET THE ARTISTS ✨ Our Reproductive Justice Benefit Show is THIS SUNDAY 10/4, and we have some incredible performers lending their talents for the cause:

@savoirfairemusic

With a voice straight out of the jazz age, Savoir Faire brings the modern existential crisis into a realm of retro-noir. Born to an American mother and an Iranian father, Savoir Faire was absorbing the influences of everything from classic 60s rock to Persian pop at an early age. She would go on to study jazz guitar in university, performing as a jazz guitarist and lounge singer before adding the last few ingredients that would form the aesthetic of Savoir Faire: lush and syrupy vocals, biting lyricism, and searing guitar parts that float between the genres of jazz, rock, and chamber pop.

@howsaboutcharlie

How’s About Charlie is a unique 4-piece group known for tight harmonies, soul gripping lyrics, and energetic yet soothing vibes. Their live performances stop listeners mid-conversation, capturing the attention of everyone within earshot, whether in an intimate coffee shop or large outdoor festival.

liz bills

Liz Bills, known for her fiery stage presence and emotionally charged, powerhouse vocals, passionate and honest in her songwriting and every performance she gives; Liz is unapologetically brave yet incredibly vulnerable and real. Taking you on a wild ride that is intoxicatingly sweet and dangerously ferocious.

@thedarlinmusic
The Darlin’ is an alt-country band from Lowell MA. Comprised of Atticus on bass, Eliot on drums, Lucas on keys and Oliver on pedal steel, and Emma on vocals and guitar, the Darlin’ was formed out of a shared love of country music and new england

All proceeds benefit The MAP! Grab your tickets at the link in bio now and we’ll see you at @warehouse_xi on Sunday!

FREE tickets are NOW AVAILABLE for our Emerson College screening on Oct 22 and can be reserved using the QR code on the poster, or from this link: https://BeautifulWasTheFightEmerson.eventbrite.com

Doors at 5:15pm, Film at 6:00pm, and Talk Back with Ruby Rose Fox (Muscle Music App), Sarah Blacker Music, Susan Kean Cattaneo, Liz Bills, Bobby Boyd, Exec Director of The Record Co., and myself will follow the screening. Light refreshments will also be available.

I hope you will join us for what may be the last Boston-area showing of the film on the BIG SCREEN! More importantly, please come out for the opportunity to meet fellow artists from the music industry, to support the local Boston art scene, and to participate in the discussion that will follow. Whether you’re a musician, singer/songwriter, producer, venue owner, filmmaker, audio engineer, or just someone who loves music and film, getting out and participating is what makes our community special. #beautifulwasthefight #bostonmusicscene #MusicDocumentary #lonelybirdfilms 🎥 🤗 @rubyrosefoxmusic @susancmusic @sarahblacker @lizbills @therecordcotrc @emersoncollegesoc @bizcreativeenterprises taken in Paramount Theater, Emerson College by @lizbills

🎥 Dropped off the Beautiful Was the Fight Digital Cinema Package (DCP) this morning to Cheyenne, Emerson College’s manager of the Screening Room and Paramount Studios, who will oversee the technical aspects of our upcoming screening and talk back on October 22, 2026 at the Bright Family Screening Room!
She was wonderful to talk with as we both share a love of cinema and each have experience working in film projection booths. (Cinema Paradiso!)

Details on tickets coming soon, but I hope you will consider joining Ruby Rose Fox (Muscle Music App), Susan Kean Cattaneo, Sarah Blacker Music, Liz Bills, and me for this FREE event which is open to the public. 🤗 #beautifulwasthefight #bostonmusicscene #WomenInMusic #musicdocumentary #lonelybirdfilms @rubyrosefoxmusic @susancmusic @sarahblacker @lizbills @emersoncollegesoc @bizcreativeenterprises taken in Paramount Theater, Emerson College by @lizbills
