🦜💚 QUETZAL 💚🦜

#emmajshipley’s design is inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Costa Rica’s Cloud Forest - featuring the mesmerising Resplendent Quetzal birds at its heart.

These elusive creatures are known to inhabit the treetops of Central American cloud forests, and are surrounded by other enchanting wildlife such as hummingbirds, bats, lizards, and a tiger heron, all perched upon the vines and moss of the forest.
The animals have been given a surreal and fantastical twist, drawing inspiration from Edward Lear’s whimsical illustrations and Georges Méliès’ science fiction films from the early 1900s.

Dressing up whatever the weather

Here's how #EmmaJShipley ties her Quetzal Silk Chiffon Scarf in Autumn Flame into this fantastical headscarf 🧡
⁠
1. Fold the scarf in half diagonally to form a triangle⁠
2. On your arm, place the triangle point facing outwards and fold the triangle's tip towards you and then over again to make a long lozenge shape⁠
3. Place the folded scarf low on your forehead, bringing both ends towards the back of your head⁠
4. Cross the ends over and bring them to the front of your head⁠
5. Cross the ends twice over each other on the front and bring the ends toward the back of your head.⁠
6. Tie securely and adjust for comfort⁠
