Believe it or not I don’t always find it easy putting myself out there, but give me a room full of people and I'll not shut up about makeup 😅.

I’ve spent over 20 years doing what I love, and for me it’s always been about so much more than makeup. It’s about helping women feel beautiful, confident and completely themselves (with a good dose of laughter and not taking ourselves too seriously!)

THIS!!!!! I could not have asked for a better reaction to the look I created for Claire 😍

The gorgeous Claire, here for the wedding of her best friend Gemma. Having them both in the studio was just amazing and the energy was high
We decided beautiful fresh glowy skin and a radiant eye look was the most perfect fit . Queen!!!!!!

When gorgeous Gemma arrived for her bridal makeup I wasn’t expecting orange brows 😂

Using the magic of colour correction we were able to neutralise the orange bringing her brows back to their natural colour ✨

Wedding guest ready, we opted for soft velvet textures and blurred lines to create this beautiful soft but defined eye.

SNEAK PEEK - RHUARIDH & LYSETTE 🧁💐💍

It was great to go back to Blackshaw Barns, a cracking venue and local to me as well. John came along to capture photography as well for a few hours (quick reminder: you can choose to have a second shooter for certain parts of the day, it doesn't have to be from beginning to end).

✨ This one was an amazing DIY wedding, to the point where the groom was up until 1am the night before 3D printing Pokémon characters for the tables. It was all very, very cool.

The weather wasn't the best on the day but the happy couple didn't let that phase them one bit. We still got outside for some lovely photographs out in the rain and it was the first time I've had a groom actually drop the bride after picking her up but she bounced back and it ended up in raucous laughter.

🤠 After the post-ceremony couples photos, they changed into their country and western outfits for the reception. They hit the dancefloor and did some karaoke too.

Rhuaridh and Lysette were such a lovely couple to work with and had a smashin day full of fun. Congrats to the new husband and wife! ♥️🥂

Alison 💕

How amazing are Alison’s blue eyes???!!!😍
We chatted about her look and made a plan to really pop out her already striking eyes, and I’m so pleased how her look turned out.

Not used to wearing much makeup we layered the skin gently to create a natural, radiant skin neutralising the redness in Alison’s skin.
Again it’s not about thick layers to achieve coverage but intelligent layering with the right products 💕

It’s not about piling on the makeup to make them look younger or like someone else - or applying the same techniques and textures I would use on younger skins.
It’s thoughtful makeup used to enhance beautiful features, eye colour and give my clients the confidence to rock their look and make them feel just fabulous 💕
