The other week I had the privilege of painting a beautiful fall-to-winter design for Whatever Was Consignment Boutique over on Granite Street downtown! The owner, Ms. Linda Harrison, is a lovely woman whom I enjoyed working with. This painting was fun to paint and it’s one of my new favorite designs for the cozy season 😄

If you’re new to my account, hello! My name is Ellie, and I’m a professional window artist local to the Prescott/Quad City area in Arizona. Gorgeous design isn’t it?

This sunflower design is really mine, and was drawn and painted over the span of a seven hours, not generated created in a matter of seconds.
It’s something that took time, energy, and creativity to brainstorm, design and paint, a process that’s more valuable now that with a click of a button you can make something perfect and flawless.
What’s your guys’ view on ai?

Per the request of a couple of people, in last week’s design I included multiple smiley faces, each a different color.
Hint: One is yellow, one brown and the other teal!

Here’s the final result of weeks 2’s window painting! As I went along some things didn’t look quite right, like the white border and black paint, which felt too harsh against the colors I used. Instead, I pulled some of the colors from the palette I was using and used that as a border instead!
I know I’ve said it before, but the colorful bubbles were the most fun to paint and turned out amazing!

Week two is now in the books with a playful turtle swimming through summer!
I’m a little behind on posting (social media is hard 🙃) but this week’s design is probably one of my favorites with its colorful palette and bubbles! The bubbles were the best part, not going to lie 😆

If you’re new here, welcome! I’m Ellie, a window artist local to the Prescott, AZ, and I’m currently in the middle of my Summer Painting Series, where once a week i design a new painting from scratch and paint it on one of own windows. I also specialize in creating and painting designs that bring personality and color to any storefront, so hit me up if you’d like to add a touch of personality to your window 😊

Just a lil turtle swimming through my sketchbook 😊

This week’s Summer Painting Series design is inspired by sunny days, ocean waves, and a little bit of imagination. Next I’m going to trade my pencil for a paintbrush and a summer playlist to help set the vibe!

Stay tuned for the finished painting! 💙

I went out on a limb for this painting by adding another element on the painting, but it ended up working out at least 😅😅😅

Most people only see the finished window, but this summer, I’m sharing everything that happens before the paint hits the glass. One design a week, each with a different theme 🙃

This week, I chose a soccer theme in honor of the FIFA World Cup starting! Comment what summer theme you’d like to see like to see next!

Drawing a mock up takes time, (so much more than i show in this reel!) but in my opinion it’s a crucial part of the process, since it brings the design from a vision to a visual, and gives my client the chance to make changes if wanted!
