The caption above her says it all!
@mamabirdsuastez is an amazing mom. That’s why she needed her very own day when we don’t have to get ready for church and host family.
Today we took the day off so she could take the day off and made her breakfast, worked with her (mostly for her) on the yard and garden, took her to lunch, baked her a treat, and made dinner. This is just a tiny bit of what she deserves.
Sarita, thank you for loving these girls so much and so well. ❤️

Post-Christmas outing to the Courthouse Plaza.
We ran into @unlimitedbubbles doing a “Silent Disco” and blowing millions of bubbles. And we took some pictures at the photo-op installations. Thanks @mamabirdsuastez for always taking silly pictures with me!

Nuestra cena de Nochebuena.
Con 9 navidades en Seattle nos acostumbramos a que cada nochebuena siempre había un restaurante de comida oriental donde cenar. Esta vez como estuvimos muy ocupados se nos olvidó planear.

Thank you @northstaryouthaz, @prescottymca and @dignityhealthaz for having us at the 23rd Annual Girls and Sports Day.
We wish we could show you some of the videos taken during the event but almost all of the participants were minors and we didn’t have permission from their parents to post their videos on social media. Instead, you get a video of the wonderful @lizzybethart taken during the calibration of our photobooth!

Hanging out with some of Prescott’s creative community during the opening of @toothpickprescott. Toothpick is an art studio that seeks to promote local art, collaboration, and community engagement. I took my daughter @lizzybethart and Carly (@adventuringsisterspodcast) and they were excited to hear about the classes that will be offered here.

A little late but this is one of my favorite pictures and one of my favorite memories of us.
We worked this event at the library earlier this summer and what you don’t see is the hard work of everyone pictured here. Sara had to come early to drop off our first Abundant Photobooth employee, Ellie, but also to bring some equipment to help keep our backdrop from blowing away. They all stayed during the event and Sara kept an eye on the photobooths while Ellie and I took breaks. And Carly and Josie helped by keeping an eye on their little sister.
This is what I mean when I say this is a family business.

❤️The precious girl who made me a mama is 16❤️

I don’t really understand how it happened 😭

Baby girl, you are fierce. You are gentle. You are full of fire and kindness and have a huge heart. Since you were a little girl you’ve found a way to help others even when it seemed impossible to make a dent in all the pain in this world. But your little kindnesses add up and I know that they make other people’s worlds a little brighter because you are in them. I both love this age for you and miss all the years before but I know we carry them with us even though they have passed. So grateful we chose to homeschool all those years ago because I am grateful for all the extra moments we have had. I cannot wait to see all that God is doing in your life and how he has created you to fit into this world. You are a gift and a delight and I wouldn’t trade you for anything in this world. I’ll love you forever my love ❤️❤️

Best cottee memories
I have lots of coffee memories. Some good ones and some bad ones. So here are just a few really good memories from the last couple of years.

1. Discovering new coffee varieties and my favorite, Bourbon Sidra, thanks to @fulcrumcoffeeroasters. Thanks to @blascafe7 and his team for teaching me about coffee varieties and for the basic barista training.

2. My first drink at @stillhouse.coffee. It was great to see my friends realize their dream of opening their coffee shop. Lots of hard work finally paid off and this place was truly needed in this community.

3. Welcoming my daughter (@lizzybethart) into the world of coffee. She is not an avid fan as I am but she drinks coffee-based drinks now and I have a companion who can come with me to discover new coffee shops since my wife (her mom) does not drink coffee.

4. A slow morning at Zion National Park. There was so much in my mind that morning and a lot of worry about the future plus there were no coffee shops around. I luckily had a packet of @kujucoffee and brewed it outside our trailer while my family was sleeping. Then this dog from the RV park we were staying at come and sat next to me while I prayed and listened for direction.

So.... Tell me your memorable #coffee experiences.

My daughter has been working so hard on her artwork for a while. She has come a long way with no actual art lessons… except a few things she has learned from YouTube.
Earlier this month she was selected to have one of her pieces on display at a local art gallery, @art_hive_prescott, as part of a Youth Art Exhibition. Her piece sold within a few minutes after the show opened. You still have time to go see it!
Congrats Ellie! Your mama, your sisters and I are very proud of you!
