AI is learning from all of us. The question is whether we are teaching it who we really are.

At The Rise Tour Experience in Chicago, we talked about why entrepreneurs, educators, leaders and communities must bring their values, culture and lived experiences into AI. That conversation became the foundation for my Every.Black Mastermind session, “Stop Feeding the AI Machine. Start Thinking With It.” If we only feed AI information, we risk flattening the very things that make us different.

AI should strengthen our judgment, not replace it. Humans lead. AI follows.

Your team does not need another AI demo.
They need a reason to use AI tomorrow morning.
Last week, I facilitated an enterprise AI workshop where the goal wasn’t simply to show people what the technology could do.
We moved into real use cases, workflows, agents, and the work people actually have to get done.
And it reinforced something I keep seeing:
AI tools are not adoption.
Training is not transformation.
Access matters. Learning matters.
But the real question is: Did anything change after the class ended?
That’s the space I work in, connecting AI strategy, workforce enablement, learning, and behavior change so people can actually use the technology with confidence and judgment.
If your organization already has the AI tools but is still figuring out how to turn access into everyday use, DM me “ADOPTION.”

I almost missed my own season because I was too busy building it.
A question on a panel made me stop long enough to look back, and what I saw caught me off guard.
The new role.
The certification.
The workshops.
Blaque Ram.
The invitations.
The growth.
I had been treating each one like another thing on the calendar.
I didn’t see the pattern.
