Introducing LLMAC photographer Georgia Mallett. Follow her on IG @gmallettphoto and check out her work online at georgiamallett.com.

Georgia is a photographer originally from Washington state living in Louisville, Kentucky. She is a passionate observer of life. She loves noticing the little things about our world that makes it so beautiful and finding a way to capture it in a creative way through photography.

Georgia also loves doing concert videography. She has filmed two Waterfront Wednesday full sets. One of her favorite things is to help direct a team to create a video that transports the viewer to that show.

Georgia’s most memorable concert photography experience was the final ‘No Comply’ in 2025. It was held during her first few months of living in Louisville and she was amazed at the incredibly energetic crowd of all types of people congregating in such a unique space supporting local music. The festival was so fun for Georgia. It was very inspiring for her photos and made her so excited to be a part of the music scene in Louisville.

The website includes “the Kentucky Music Industry Directory, a resource for Kentucky artists, venues, festivals, and the many other professionals that make live music and the music industry thrive in the Commonwealth. The Governor’s Office of Music encourages musicians and those who operate venues, festivals, and other music-related businesses to submit their information to join the directory.”

Introducing @llmac502 photographer Brittany East. Follow her on IG @brittanyeastphotography.

Brittany served as the official photographer for the @thedepotatnoco Surfside Summer Jams series that spanned summer 2026. She also photographed concerts at the Riverstage in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In addition to concerts, Brittany photographs weddings, families, and couples.

Brittany’s most memorable concert photography experience was the Juneteenth event at the Riverstage. She got to capture some awesome bands and dancers. It was a memorable experience because everyone came together because of music. She recalls feeling that there were no differences, just everyone enjoying music and dancing. She was grateful to be able to meet with some of the bands and take their photos, as well as share a meal with them.

Introducing LLMAC photographer Bill Smith (he/him/they). Follow him @lostntheloulands.

Bill is a Louisville native and a low-light live event photographer who specializes in concerts. In addition to capturing Louisville’s live music events in still images and videos, Bill enjoys shooting live events, street photography and portraits. He focuses on capturing movement, motion, and emotion to help enhance the story of the event. Bill leans toward vivid and bright colors along with using lens fx filters to deliver a unique visual experience. He prioritizes fast turn around times of about 24 hours or less.

Bill’s most memorable concert photography experience to date was @thejesselees and @mymorningjacket at @louisvillepalace on night three of the five-night run in 2025. It was his first time shooting @louisvillepalace, and he loved working with those amazing Louisvillians.

Introducing LLMAC photographer Sierra Willis or “SJ” (she/her). Follow her on IG @sierrawillis.jpg and view her work online at sierrawillisphotography.mypixieset.com.

Sierra is a portrait and concert/entertainment photographer who started her wild ride with photography at 15-years-old and has not looked back since. In addition to concerts, she photographs weddings and individual sessions (engagements, grad sessions, portraits, etc.). You will generally find her in photo pits or on-the-go.

Her most memorable photography experience to date was shooting a music festival for the first time in 2025. It was a momentum building experience for Sierra and is fueling her drive to make her dream a reality.

Taj is the photographer behind CulturedKhaki Photography. He’s based in Louisville, Kentucky and focuses on capturing authentic moments, energy, and atmosphere - especially in live music and events. He also shoots portraits, sports, street photography, lifestyle, and documentary-style photos. He enjoys capturing candid moments and telling a story through the images.

Taj’s most memorable photography experience has been shooting bands performing live in smaller venues where he can get close to the performers and really capture the energy of the room. It’s about the lighting, movement, crowd, and music all coming together that makes every shot feel different. Those experiences are what really made Taj fall in love with concert photography.

Introducing @llmac502 photographer Alex Woodard. Follow them on IG @sodanoiseclub.

Alex is a photographer who somehow ended up completely obsessed with live music. They love documenting the moments people do not always notice like the crowd singing along, musicians getting lost in the music, and everything that happens in between. Their goal is pretty simple: make people look back at a show and think, “Yeah... that’s exactly what it felt like.” Something that you remember years later, telling kids and even grandkids.

Alex’s most memorable concert photography experience is Soulja Boy’s “The Drip Tour” stop at Mercury Ballroom in April 2026. They had just gotten into concert photography and thought it would be a fun story to pitch to their student newspaper. They genuinely believed it was going to be a normal assignment. It was not. The show ended up starting about three hours late, nobody really knew what was going on, and people kept asking security, event staff, and even those in the media where Soulja Boy was.

By the time they got home and wrote the article, the editor-in-chief actually asked if they’d used AI because the whole thing sounded too ridiculous to be real. They had to tell him, “Nope...that actually happened.” They ended up doing a photo gallery for @thelouisvillecardinal instead of an article, which can be viewed online at louisvillecardinal.com.

Alex likes letting moments happen naturally instead of constantly directing people, so a majority of their work is candid and documentary style. They try to adapt to the environment rather than force a certain look since every show is different.
