Introducing LLMAC photographer Taj Hess. Follow him on IG @saucewanapkin and check out his work online at www.culturedkhaki.photography.

Taj is the photographer behind CulturedKhaki Photography. He’s based in Louisville, Kentucky and focuses on capturing authentic moments, energy, and atmosphere - especially in live music and events. He also shoots portraits, sports, street photography, lifestyle, and documentary-style photos. He enjoys capturing candid moments and telling a story through the images.

Taj’s most memorable photography experience has been shooting bands performing live in smaller venues where he can get close to the performers and really capture the energy of the room. It’s about the lighting, movement, crowd, and music all coming together that makes every shot feel different. Those experiences are what really made Taj fall in love with concert photography.

You can contact Taj with booking inquiries at Culturedkhaki.business@gmail.com. He prides himself on being easy to work with, professional, and focused on capturing the real energy of the event rather than forcing everything to look staged. He wants the artist or client to walk away with strong images they’re proud to post, promote, and keep. He’s always open to discussing the vision beforehand so he’s on the same page with his client.

Taj’s portrait is by @theogchrisjenner. All other images in this carousel are by Taj.

The Hypnic Jerks at Mag Bar. ⚡️

A wall of fuzz, color, and pure live energy.
Had a blast catching these cats doing their thing.

ACROMANCER ⚡️

Caught @acromancerband doing what they do best — loud guitars, heavy drums, and pure live energy at Mag Bar.

This is exactly why I love shooting live music. No posing. No second takes. Just catching the moment when everything hits nah mean.
