Join us this Friday (10/16) for a discussion about political hope in an age that can sometimes feel oppressively hopeless.

Welcome Dr. Blakely, one of our newest additions to the LMU Philosophy community, and Dr. Albertson, and engage in a survey of utopias across different thinkers and traditions.

What does thinking through utopia mean for our political hopes? Does a utopia include free snacks and beverages? (This colloquium does!) by @lmuphilosophy

With the resurgence of hype surrounding the Odyssey, come listen to the epic poem as it was meant to be told. 🏛️

Dr. Treanor will be taking on an epic feat in its own right: reading through the Odyssey in one day!

Grab a free copy of one of the most influential (and still relevant) stories ever told and be transported back to the times of Ancient Greece to continue the long tradition of oral storytelling. 🗣️ by @lmuphilosophy
