Whoever said running a business isn’t easy… well, they were correct. Let alone build anything from the ground up. Granted i could have spent a lot more money and saved myself the hassle. But its not in my nature nor was it in my budget to drop a bag on a project that i know i could contribute to. Im going to be honest, This was one of the hardest growing pains ive ever experienced in my life thus far. But i guess thats why they call it that. There is no growth without struggle. It was hard to see it in the beginning and i still have to remind myself everyday to keep pushing. But its starting to feel good finally, and if nothing else i know my experience can inspire others to do things that scare them. Sit in those moments that dont feel good. Fight the thoughts of doubt and have the fortitude to keep on going. This is just the beginning of a journey to i don’t know where. But best believe its going.

I want to thank my friends that have donated their time, energy, and had my back while i took this on. I love you guys 💚

Have patience, make it fun, and try to create a positive experience. I think as barbers sometimes we get a little big headed and think that at a certain point you get to pick and choose your clients. But i try to remember at its core, we are here to service the community. Not everyone who sits in your chair is going to a walk in the park, sit still, or have immaculate hair to practice your technique. & cutting kids is a good way to humble yourself and remind you where you started. Regardless of age or personality, i believe you have to customize your service to make each client feel comfortable and enjoy their experience. I hope you enjoy watching as much as i enjoyed cutting 🙏🏼❤️ #localboy #kidshairstyles by @localboybarberco
