POSTS STORIES REELS

TWO YEARS on the road 🎉

2 years ago we packed up our lives with two kids, a caravan and a dream to explore Australia.

Since then we’ve crossed state lines more times than we can count, travelled countless kms, met some incredible people, free camped in some unreal places and created memories our kids will talk about forever.

This past year especially pushed us. Selling our van, upgrading to a new one, the stress, the unknowns, the big decisions… but looking back now, every challenge was 100% worth it.

Still rolling. Still learning. Still loving life on the road!

Here’s to many more 👌🏼

Our sweetest little girl, who loves all things pink and purple 💜

Growing up way too fast for our liking!

Happy 4th birthday Kora. We love you so much! 🎀

📍 Quilpie, QLD

Two years later… we finally made it to Quilpie.

This little outback town has been on our list since the very beginning. We were actually meant to come through here during our first week on the road back in 2024, but a heap of rain and two very green travellers quickly changed those plans 😂

There was also a bit of history behind wanting to get here. Lochie grew up hearing stories of his dad and uncles coming out this way fishing, exploring and no doubt sinking a few cold ones at the time. So it was always somewhere we wanted to see for ourselves.

This time, the timing was right. We wanted to take a few days to slow down and just chill.

A few days camped along the Bulloo River, fossicking for opals, making our way up Baldy Top lookout with amazing views, celebrating Mel’s birthday and finishing it off with a pub feed and drinks at the Brick Hotel.

Quilpie, you were worth the wait 🤎

It’s the unexpected little extras that make life on the road entertaining 😂

Safe to say this free camp gave us a good laugh on the way out.

📍 Uluru, NT

Our third visit to one of our favourite places in Australia 🧡

From watching the sunset over Uluru, experiencing the Field of Light, riding bikes around the base, and celebrating Lochie’s birthday, there’s always something special about being back here.

Three visits down… and we still don’t think we’re done with this place yet.

Happy Birthday Mel! ❤️

We hope you have the best day filled with love, happiness and plenty of memories. 💕

Thank you for everything you do for us. You really are the rock of our little family, and we honestly couldn’t do this crazy life without you, Mumma. ❤️

These last 2 years travelling around Australia with you and the kids have been nothing short of amazing. We’ve seen some incredible places, experienced things we never could have imagined, made so many awesome memories and, most importantly, got to do it all together as a family.

There’s definitely been some ups and downs along the way 😂 but I wouldn’t want to be doing this crazy adventure with anyone else.

Here’s to another year of adventures, exploring new places, making memories with the kids and living this crazy life together. Bring on many more! 🥰

Love you heaps

A piece of Uluru history that so many people still remember 🧡

We’d love to hear from those who climbed it… what was it like?

And if you still could today… would you? 👀
