Wherever is Kiefer in town, I will be there!
🥩
“Nymphäum” at Thaddaeus Ropac is a total masterclass in scale.
I’m obsessed with the new color palette mixed into the heavy textures. Seeing 8-meter tall ruins swallowed by nature and myth is an experience you can’t really put into words.
I like it raw, as usual!

One of the newest and best contemporary art museums in Bangkok (and even worldwide) . I really appreciate how they showcase both big-name artists and smaller talents, expressing a fresh perspective on modern art through the lens of a new angle in Thailand. Great job! It’s a must-visit! @dibbangkok taken in Dib Bangkok by @logangoingout

Some artists never disappoint and are worth visiting, no matter how long the transport takes.

Yayoi Kusama and Anselm Kiefer in one city—how lucky am I ?!

No photographs are allowed in Yayoi’s exhibition.

Special project art spaces hopping in Osaka. Japan can always surprise me with unique exhibitions and works which stand out from others. The raw artistic expression that contrasts sharply with the usual impression of routine and conformity is truly fascinating to me.

Finally made it to the Terrada Art Complex in Tokyo, and it did not disappoint! 🎨 This spot has around 19 galleries in two buildings, each showcasing fresh work from amazing local artists. Located in the lively Shinagawa area, it’s super easy to get to.

The vibe is so inspiring, with unique exhibitions that really capture the essence of contemporary Japanese art. If you’re in Tokyo, definitely check it out—it’s a must-visit for art lovers and a great place to snap some pics! 📸✨ taken in TERRADA Art Complex by @logangoingout

Louise Bourgeois: I Have Been to Hell and Back. And let me tell you it was wonderful.

#nobodycares but these are my top countries’ pavilion picks of 2024 Venice Biennale “Foreigners everywhere” and the short reasons:
Lithuania- Perfectly utilized the space and atmosphere of the church, vividly showcasing the artist’s vision of a future dominated by technology. (Slide 1-2)
‘
Italy - Astonishing contrast of device structure and space. (Slide 3-4)
‘
Uzbekistan- Using the theatre stage as a theme, it shows that while everyone is watching others, they are also being watched, creating a very interesting form of ‘passive interaction (Slide 5)
‘
Britain - Excellent use of visual works and scene arrangement leaves a deep impression on the audience. (Slide 6)
‘
Belgium - A very interesting ongoing project, where the gigantic puppets appear even more striking in the somewhat small exhibition hall. (Slide 7)
‘
Australia - The study of Australian Indigenous clans, with its extensive literature research and workload, is truly deserving of respect.(Slide 8)
‘
Germany - Extremely shocking immersive installations and sound art showcase the gap between the desolate modern ruins in the future and high-tech development. Rank 1 of my trip. (Slide 9-10) taken in Giardini della Biennale by @logangoingout

Before I started studying fine art at university, while I was preparing to apply to an art school in Beijing, I discovered a book about Sculpture since 1945. I was immediately drawn to its cover, which featured an installation of a narrow corridor with green light. This artwork created situations that were meant to be disorienting, challenging viewers both physically and intellectually. It was the first time I felt inspired by an installation , and it made me think about how I could express my own feelings and thoughts through creating artworks more than paintings. That was when I first learned about Bruce Nauman and his work “Green Light Corridor.”(1970)

I was really excited when I saw the exhibition poster at Central station back in April and It was definitely worth the wait. This exhibition is an important showcase of Nauman’s work in Hong Kong, featuring 35 artworks that span his 60-year career. Hong Kong audiences now have the opportunity to closely observe Nauman’s notable works such as “Animal Pyramid” (1989) and “Washing Hands Normal” (1996), among others. The wide range of artworks on display showing Nauman’s various experimental periods and changes in materials and creative forms.
