French and gay. In my home country, I’m what we call a faguette.

In America it rains cats and dogs. In France? It rains like a cow is peeing. I grew up in the countryside. I have seen a cow pee. The image is accurate 🐄🌧️

My husband came back from this bar in Palm Springs very proud. A daddy paid for his drink and called him the most handsome man in the room. I’m supportive. But I’m also competitive. So I went to the bar myself. A young man walked toward me. He said: “Hey, why don’t you buy me a drink, Daddy?” There’s always that moment in the life of a gay man when you realize you’ve become the daddy. And as I was swiping my credit card, supporting and caring for the youth, I realized: I’m ready to become an actual daddy 🫃🏻

Two years ago, I started to write the story of two strangers who meet at a grief support group and embark on a road trip together.

Today, I’m excited to share the movie poster of Distressed!

Post-production is almost done. Coming to a film festival near you soon!

Writing, directing, and acting in movies is an old dream of mine. This has been an incredible experience and I can’t wait to do it again!

Thank you to my too-cool-for-Instagram partner in crime, lead actress, and co-executive producer, Miyoko Sakatani, who was there from the start and has been instrumental in making this project a reality.

Thank you to the cast and crew and to our families and friends for their love and support during the making of this film. It takes a village to do a movie, even a short one!

Special shoutout to @justinzguo, the best DP any director can dream of.

More updates on the movie soon!

Following Moira Rose’s advice (IYKYK), I asked for hot pics to look back on in my golden years, and let’s be honest, to brag about to my future friends at the retirement community #leoseason #bratsummer 🦁☀️
