The Art Parade turned Los Angeles into a collective work of art. The lines between artist and audience disappeared. Art history was being made in real time right outside of museum walls. All of it people places color light became one collective work of art. I am grateful to have been there with @metabolicstudio and I will share more about that experience soon. I love this photograph by Gary Buchler and how it captures the joy of the day. You can see more of his images from the parade @garyb101

Always moving here in London. Transforming cardboard, wasps working, the pursuit of making my ideas tangible, an early morning crow flying in to perfect a composition,the last purple astors at a country retreat for parent artists, sunflowers regenerating, power saws, the best pizza in the world?, sketching tangents, 3-d workshop at UAL, long walks to school in the rain.

Self-Portrait in pieces. The painting as a whole didn’t turn out to my liking, but there are bits that do, or did. I’m a work in progress. Anyway it was fun picking up brushes again.
I’m so fortunate that my friend Chloe is in London and invited me to one of her expressive workshops. A lovely time was had by all in the basement of Sam’s Cafe in Primrose Hill. Check out Chloe’s portraits @feelingroofless there. @samscafeprimrosehill
