Pencils up! It's time for art! This week at Playspace join @lois.keller & @aidanflynnstagram in artistic practice as we write, draw, and devise our way to clown! 🖌️🎨🖍️🫟👨‍🎨 Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own. This is also Lois' big sendoff before she moves to London town for puppet school 😭😭😭 and she will be giving away some pieces from her studio! So join us for art, clown, and big sappy emotions🙏💕

The first ever ⭐️Playspace Macaroni Fringe⭐️ was a huge economic success!! Many things were awarded and although everyone won, some people won more than others. A decorated congratulations to our overall fringe winner @celinemili, hand-selected by birthday host @annoyingtwinkofficial. Another congrats to @corndudemax, champion of the first quarterly LA clown Olympics hosted by @dashiamagee. And a very special mention to clown olympics runner-up @lois.keller who showed up with a macaroni trophy, backdrop, parachute, and paintings 🌞

Yo, thank you all for making the fringe happen!!! And thank you to the park + @itsluismeraz for the giant speaker! Post 4 of 4. Making photos for @lacma LACMA is always a highlight, but this past weekend was next level.
Last Saturday, LACMA’s Art Parade took over Wilshire and turned it into a moving explosion of creativity. Originally conceived by Jeffrey Deitch in New York and reimagined for LA in collaboration with LACMA, it brought together giant inflatables, sculptures, costumes, performers, and an estimated 60,000 people for a night where art truly belonged to everyone.
I loved running into so many talented friends in the parade, and just taking in the mix of people who make LA what it is—artists, families, elders, kids, dreamers, and communities from every corner of the city.
LACMA is becoming a real cultural hub for LA, and we need that. More gathering. More wonder. More reminders of what makes this city so alive.

nice moments from the past month //
performance & friendship //
lots of time with my kids, even when i felt like i was working too much. most of my camera roll consists of photos of my kids, and i try not to share them in public posts. so it made me smile to see so many photos of my kids and the moments we've had together. i can describe them:

walking around, cuddling, scootering, eating ice cream, making cookies, school projects and presentations, playdates, aerial silks, ideas they have for clown bits, watching pokémon and learning about it intently

i want to live every day overflowing with love and creativity and when we're tired, just presence and hugs

glad that my kids can see me in community with people who prioritize the same things 💫
