📼 #giagiamovie #reviews #critiques #foundfootage #cinema "Between the horror, the laughs and the completely crazy situations, I loved the tone Zach Cregger brings to this new Resident Evil. The director, already known for "Barbarian" and "Weapons", offers a very different take on the franchise, and honestly, I had a great time from start to finish. The film mixes horror, dark humor, tension and completely wild scenes. This is exactly the kind of combination I enjoy, and I think the film does a great job of balancing these different tones." "And let’s talk about Austin Abrams, who is simply excellent! He plays Bryan, our main character, and he is completely convincing in the role. We can definitely say that our hero is having one hell of a terrible night! 😭 And you can really feel it on screen! His reactions feel so natural and realistic that I loved following him as things got worse and worse. He doesn’t act like an invincible hero who always knows what to do. He is scared, he panics, he doesn’t always understand what is happening to him, and he simply tries to survive the best he can." "That realism in his reactions is exactly what I loved. Sometimes it made me laugh like crazy, while other moments genuinely made me jump. The film manages to make us laugh while also putting us in some truly horrifying situations. The visuals are also amazing! 🤯🩸 I really liked the film’s visual work. The creatures, special effects and horror scenes are particularly well done. Everything works very well on screen and makes the experience even more immersive." "The horror scenes also build tension really well. The film takes its time to set up certain situations before surprising us with much more violent or distur by @lolafrightfest
