POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Welp, I guess it’s about time I made this.

I have many words and I’m gonna be making another post about everything that I’ve done within the past few years, but I wanted to dedicate a post specifically to talk about WGI and my marching journey. (Also apologies if I miss anyone in the tags, there’s a LOT of people lol)

It took me a really long time to try to find the words about how I was feeling but I think I’ve had enough time to reflect upon everything and how I truly feel. I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of Kaizen. This was somewhere that truly did feel special, and I got to be a part of something that has never been seen before: a debuting open class group being promoted to world class mid-season. Something like this is unheard of and only goes to show how amazing we were and how far I can see Kaizen going. I’m so happy that I not only got to be a part of it, but also felt so welcomed and pushed to do what I love to the highest I possibly could. This is somewhere that I truly feel I can call my home, and I wouldn’t change how the season went for anything.

I’d like to give my personal thanks to some people that mean a lot to me (1/5)——>

To everyone at Kaizen, thank you for being yourselves and taking me in. Every one of you has been so amazing to be around and I could find myself talking with almost every section, which feels like a rarity at times. You all have been such an amazing family to be part of and such good people, that it never felt like I was being outcasted from the pack.

To all my past educators, thank you all for putting your trust in me in making your visions come to reality. You all have taught me so many valuable lessons that I take with me everywhere in life now, and I am so appreciative of it. Thank you for pushing me when rehearsals were tough, but also being an ear for when life was becoming too much. I hope that I truly lived up to the standards that you all have set, and I will continue to hold myself to those standards. (2/5)——>

To all of my fellow ageouts who I’ve marched with in the past, I hope that you all have made it to groups that make you feel at home like I did. I know that there was a lot of you that I didn’t by @lolbruhwhy

Latin Jazz Westerbeck Performance 5/29 (Turn Phone Sideways)

I got most of the concert, with exception to the first song and some of the end of the concert. Had an amazing time playing with everyone here! taken in Pasadena City College by @lolbruhwhy

Yeah baby finally after recovering from being sick for like 2-3 weeks I got the chance to record this. This one was really fun to do! With that said, I’ve got some ideas for the next break that I wanna try so I want you guys to decide what break I should post next. Whichever option gets the most votes/likes as a comment will be what I try this out on 😎 (also don’t mind the fan noise it got hot lol)

It’s that time of year and since I’m not on quads anymore I have a lot more free time to play stuff👌 I think you can imagine what’s coming soon 😈

Well it’s about time I do some Broken City. I’ve come to realize they may have my favorite warmups compared to all other WGI lines. I’ve got another one in the works but I’m gonna be taking a bigger look at BCP exercises since they use a lot of arm and I’m struggling in that regard (even in this video my left arm is barely moving). In any case, sorry for not uploading in a while and I hope y’all enjoy this one! (Also my camera angle died on me for this one 💀 I hope y’all don’t mind lol)

BACK TO BACK POSTS⁉️⁉️ It’s finally time to start doing some DCI breaks and I decided to start off with a short and sweet one. Transcribing this was surprisingly quick and learning and getting it up to tempo surprisingly didn’t take that long either, kinda proud of myself for that lol. Hope you guys enjoy! (Also shoutout @nickeyp24 for just being dope lol)

I decided to take a shot at transcribing a break on my own, I think I was accurate considering I couldn’t find any sheets on this anywhere lol. Also added a goofy visual at the end cuz why not. Hope y’all enjoy a better attempt at me splitting even though it’s really short (I got some other stuff planned for that don’t you guys worry 😉)

This one was a monster lol. As promised, this was one of the big projects I was working on. One of the most influential years for RCC’S quad writing and it makes sense why. This may be the hardest quad break l’ve ever learned but once you get it, it’s so fun. Absolutely worth the burn in my arms lol. Be on the lookout for some more projects! 😎😎
