Often times when I talk about my travels I feel like I met with a lot of limiting beliefs. A lot of people tell me that I’ll get murdered or that woman shouldn’t be out doing the things that I’m doing… overall I think that’s really weird and wrong to say, but I think it’s really important when you’re traveling to be able to listen to your gut feeling. I had a really weird neighbor on this trip. Me seeing him helping me was kind of a very big overstatement . More or less he kinda hung around and didn’t get the vibe that I wanted him to leave . Or really when I told him that I wanted him to leave . I’ve honestly had some weird interactions with different men on my recent travels through the PNW. One of our biggest tools when we’re out there by ourselves is just listening to your intuition if it feels wrong, a great spot is just simply not worth it. In this case, the spot was not worth it at all to me. I left the shelter up for the night and left the spot… it ended up being the right decision for a lot of reason reasons. I grabbed my stuff the next morning and got out of there and I’m so happy I did that instead of worrying all night.

5 miles turned almost 8😂🫣 Not every hike is gonna be perfect, but it’s how you handle it that matters! honestly ended up being great because it helped get me prepped for my big trip to Idaho. Because I usually get a later start on my hikes I was at least just stoked to have two headlamps but man I’m doing my best to not hike in the dark as much😂

Went to the Oregon coast to celebrate my grandma’s life. Didn’t realize that my backyard I found in the mountains was gonna be a sick bike terrain park. Was able to spread my grandma’s ashes and spend two days ripping through this park. This was honestly a great way to deal with all the big feelings that had come up 🤙🏽💗 miss you G
